Cano/Theopane was a very entertaining fight. Ashley has a warriors heart and fought hard. I'd like to see what Cano can do against the Rios' and Lucas' of 140.
Ishe/Molina was more tactical than I thought it would be. But IMHO, I believe that Ishe won that fight. He was masterful defensively. What bothered me the most was that the ref basically made it easy for him cause he kept bending over and the ref kept warning Molina for rabbid punches to the point of retarding Molina's ugly but effective offense.
Danny Garcia is swiftly climbing the ladder to greatness. Massively underrated, was the underdog and put on quite the show. I've been on record many times saying that fight was 50/50. Danny was the fighter of the night imo. Him and his "garsh" are an excellent credit to Philly.
Now while Danny won, I don't think Mattysse was exposed or overrated. I still believes he beats any and all 140lbers not named "Swift".
Floyd/Canelo..... what can I say! Floyd is a great fighter. I cannot hate his ring accomplishments any longer. He was masterful last night. Good job champ.
i agree with everything you said
i though ashley showed great heart but lost and smith won it to me simply cause he was at least throwing at molina's head but i dont care horrible horibble horrible fight
i said it was a 50/50 fight and damn garcia is a big boy he was way bigger than mattysse than i though
and floyd was floyd ,his offense was not the best last night i'll give floyd a b-
Nah, Floyd did what he wanted to Canelo. I gave his offense an A. It's not like he had the pop to stop Canelo.

The bold. How can I hate properly when the guy frigin does $h!t like that. I might as well pack it up and admit how good he is.:sad2:
I've never been a Mayweather fan, but he's always impressed the hell out of me. He's going to retire undefeated. And it won't be because he didn't fight good fighters. The only real regret for the fans will be that Floyd and Manny didn't meet in their primes.
Disagree about Molina/Smith. Neither was landing much, but Molina was landing more and pressing the fight more often than not. Both looked awful though.
I was completely wrong about Danny. He fought a very composed and disciplined fight and displayed skills I didn't think he had. All the credit in the world to him.
Goddamn is Mayweather a great fighter. Just impossibly calm and tactical and brilliant and fast. That moment where Alvarez was laying on the ropes trying to bait Floyd in and Floyd was just peppering him at will summed up everything you need to know about Mayweather's accuracy and smarts.
I watched the Molina-Smith fight, but was too distracted to form a solid opinion. It seemed to me the right call was made.
Garcia put on an excellent performance. I had picked Mattysse by KO in the mid-late rounds, but Danny showed a lot more than I thought he had as well. I would love to see a rematch. Those two are warriors.
Mayweather fought a guy fifteen pounds heavier -- a pretty good "guy," too -- and left no doubt. What else does Floyd have to do to convince real fans that he's a true great? The judge that had it for Canelo ought to be banned from scoring fights.

I missed the first two fight, but I think you are right on about the last two. Lucas still beats most fighters out there.

Ishe vs. Molina was a terrible fight. Training for three months just to go in there and clinch?
As I had anticipated, Garcia vs. Matthysse was the best fight of the entire card. Danny Garcia should be top 5 p4p material right now.
LOL top 5 p4p? Is that a joke?

The most impressive part of the night, aside from Danny boxing his ears off, is Danny being able to take Matthysse bombs. That hit he took that blew out his mouthpiece woulda put everyone else in the JWW division to sleep!
