When a major boxing fight takes place all these "fans" come out of nowhere.
Does anyone else get ****ing annoyed with these casual bandwagon "fans"? Who pledge to know everything about boxing? They talk nonsense out of their ass. And when you actually try to educate them about the sport. They get mad. **** annoys the hell out of me. For example at the barber shop. A guy was throwing a tantrum why mayweather wouldn't fight ward it was only a few pounds, weight makes no difference and blah blah when i tried to explain he said save your words I've boxed for 7 yrs i know all the insides and outs. I don't invite my friends over for boxing matches anymore the frustration they cause me does not let me enjoy the sport..I watch football once in a while, when the superbowl comes I don't go off and say I'm a football historian, nor get mad at my friends for trying to educate me about the sport..
Manny and Floyd fights... when everyone on your facebook becomes boxing experts who've watched the sport forever.
My friend was talking about Canelo like mad hard, so I posted this on her wall

Its your duty to educate these people if at all possible. When they start talking nonsense, just shut them down and bring out as much knowledge as you can. If they're a decent person, they'll be willing to listen and learn. If not, they're an *******. But you can always tell the ****heads who just won't listen so its better to just be quiet. But there are some people out there willing to learn if you give it the right approach.
I'm with u on this one. Its been me and my fiance for the last Floyd fight and now this, if anything she's starting to appreciate the science behind each move (after multiple explanations).
yea, and when she doesn't understand something she will ask me. I feel like a young cus d'amato teaching someone about the sport. I know it sounds funny, but it feel good lol
Yea. I pictured watching this fight among friends you know having nice cold beers, but I realized they are the reason I can't enjoy the fight.. so I'm going to watch it by myself with my gf lol at least she tries to learn about the sport.

I don't get annotated at all, their one of the sole reasons Big Fights like this one are spectacles.
I only care about big fights, what does it matter if I only watch the huge and main attractions?
No one wants to see the guys at the damn bottom anyways..
Boxers fight pretty much every weekend, it's not their fault if the media would rather cover f*ggoty American football, the NBA, or sh*tty golf and tennis tournaments.

Man who gives a crap? I'm only interested in the big fights but that doesn't mean I don't know sh*t, there are only a few fighters out there who are worth following. Fighters don't fight enough to keep boxing mainstream.

i boxed for almost 10 years and i am on my way to become a trainer right now, actually working with a few good pro fighters so believe me talking with these people just makes you feel great if u love boxing
this is exactly why I don't talk boxing with people offline
Yup. Same here.
Everytime I ever have I've heard retarded statements like "Rocky Marciano never beat anybody", or "Ali was a runner", or "Tyson was the best boxer of all time."
I mean, NSB is chock full of imbeciles, too. But at least some of you pricks know what you're talking about. Whereas in the real world I've not met anybody that does.
