When Mayweather fought Marquez he came in 2lbs over the limit and was ordered by the Commission to pay Marquez $300,000 per pound which resulted in him paying $600,000. If Canelo comes in over the weight limit and this fine is similar i can see him happily giving Floyd this amount of money to save him from dehydrating and cutting the weight

Why does everyone assume that Floyd will take money if Canelo misses weight? More than likely, Floyd will make him spend another couple of hours trying to sweat it off- which is actually worse for Canelo than paying a fine
