Gayweather is a pu55y for taking Canelo on at 23 and forcing him to come down to 152.
The fight was freakin' boring on top of that. Mayweather fighting like a cat all night, moving away.
LMAO at Gayweather's face when he heard 114-114.
IMHO, the fight should have been a draw.
Gayweather is a F@G if he dont' offer a rematch to Canelo at 154lbs.
Win, Lose, or Draw, Canelo still comes out of this a bigger star than before, and perhaps even bigger than Floyd. Floyd drained the kid by making him come down to 152. If Saul loses, a rematch at 154 is in immediate order.
doesn't hit as hard as sugar shane.
I'm not too sure about that one. I'm not saying that Alvarez is going to win, but at this point and time I'm pretty sure that Canelo is faster, stronger, and a far more dynamic and fluid puncher than Shane was in his fight with Mayweather.
Canelo hasn't finished any elite opponents thus far
Don't mean he can't finish Floyd. There's a first time for everything. It's an intriguing fight, that's why we're all talking about it and it will do over 1 Mil PPVs. He's only 23, improving significantly with every fight. He can peak on Sat against an aging Champion. Yeah, Floyd looked good against Guerrero, but Canelo ain't no Ghost. There are possibilities in this fight and that's why we'll be watching.
And what other elite/P4P boxer has canelo done this to? But you are saying he is going to KO an elite HOF who has never been KO'ed let alone even knocked down?
Good gawd, you cant be serious.
I guess you can't do anything for the first time. I don't think Canelo is going to hurt Floyd or drop him, did you miss that or just can't read? If his power hurts Floyd like Mosley's did and he wobbles, Canelo CAN and WILL stop him. I don't think he will, but he can.

^^^this^^^
Bottom Line: Canelo hits hard enough to hurt Mayweather. Floyd and his entire team know this. That's why they wanted Canelo to drain himself to 147. That's why there's a catchweight for this fight. Canelo should just do him dirty and not even try to make the weight, the way Floyd did to former Featherweight Juan Manuel Marquez.
Shane was not the first to hurt Floyd, and guess what the others did not stop him either,Floyd is tough, smart and crafty in the ring,he knows how to handle himself
People love to claim shane did not finish floyd because he"gassed out"ignoring the fact floyd defended himself, clinched and recovered very well,Floyd is the reason Floyd did not fall or get finished
Canelo isn't a consistent finisher. He knocked Baldomir out cold, but his stoppages against Lopez and Gomez weren't impressive. Those guys were still on their feet and conscious when Canelo stopped them. One punch can change everything, but i wouldn't bet on Canelo to KO Floyd. Floyd knows how to buy himself enough time to recover.
If Canelo hurts and drops Floyd, Floyd isn't getting out of the round. I don't think he will hurt Floyd or drop him, but if he does, he knows that's his best chance to win, he'll put it all out to stop him.
Nope...
I thought Canelo was a great finisher till I saw him hurt Trout and did nothing about it.

That might be be a factor. The fact that he didnt go in for the kill when he dropped Trout or when he hurt him the other dozen times. But to be honest, I don't expect Mayweather to take that punch the same way Trout did. I wouldnt bet on Mayweather getting up.
Prime Mosley didn't wanna fight Floyd though
The truth is, Mosley had just beaten vargas and during his post fight interview with Larry merchant, he was asked what his plans were as far as his next opponent/fight and mosley said that he had plans to take the rest of the year off and take a vacation with his family. That's when Floyd chose to call him out. Sounds pretty convenient if u ask me.
Trout recovered cause Canelo showed no interest in finishing him off.
Anyway, in other words you agree with me? Canelo wouldnt be able to finish Mayweather.

Trout is a fully-fledged 154lb-er who could probably fight at 160 with his frame. It was a flash knockdown. Even though Trout went down wobbly, his legs were there when he came back up.
Mayweather has grown into welter nice. Compare him against Hatton at 147 to how he looked against Marquez or Ortiz. Noticeable difference.
My point is that Mayweather is gonna feel it if Canelo hits him clean. Canelo will be at least 14lbs (a stone) heavier.
Trust me. That's why there's weight classes.
