Or will it continue to get worse? i think it would also be a good idea if he would stay down for a bit instead of jumping straight back up as it would aid his recovery.
Julio Diaz went into their fight knowing if he could land a clean left hook then he might get the job done
nice leaping left hook left Amir embarrassed, recovered ok though.
Throughout the fight signs that he was getting wobbly from shots
Then came round 11 the big one... Left hook and Amir gets hurt, claps his hands together like pacman then walks straight into a little slugfest where he gets clocked 3 times and fails to hit Diaz with anything meaningfull... somehow manages to stay on his feet. Shortly later on get whacked again but escapes the round somehow without getting knocked down.
Chin is a problem.. But Amir has enough heart to grind through the lack of legs...
however round 11 stilled showed his mentality needs to be changed for good and the right moves still need to be drilled into him. He really has a fighters brawler mentality when he should be a pure boxer lol... Maybe if his mind didn't click into 'fight back' mode when he gets hurt he'd just fall down instead?
Maybe if he took steroids he could improve his chin, other than that he needs to improve his defense to prevent his chin from getting cracked. He has too much pride inside the ring, he fights with emotion instead of intelligence. If he only had some self discipline he would be a phenomenal fighter, he has super fast hands but always gets wreckless, he is easily lured into a brawl trying to prove his machismo.
