I know some of you forget, but remember when Oscar tried to get Pac to sign with Golden Boy (after he had already signed with Top Rank)? Oscar caught Pac in the airport and gave him a suitcase of money. They then had to go to litigation and the judge ruled in favor of TR but Pac had to give a certain percentage of his purse to Golden Boy for a couple of fights. Well what if the judge ruled in favor of Golden Boy. Would we have such a divide with the promotional companies? Would Floyd and Pac actually fight? Would this whole drug testing thing even be an issue? I've thought about this for a while. Remember Oscar was on the Pac train for a while, then he started implying he was on PED's once Floyd did (remember that post Oscar made on ******.com). Things could have possibly been very different then they are today.
What are your thought?
PAC was offered a career high payday to fight JMM after the 2nd fight. I think it was 6 or 7 million and Manny opted out and fought Diaz for 3.
Again I still stick to the fact that he didn't HAVE to face JMM again. Also, you seem to omit the fact that JMM turned down his career high payday to rematch Pac, only to fight Chris John instead for like 80K and lose. Tell the full story if you're gonna tell it.
In any case we got 4 great fights out them. People like to say how much trouble JMM gives Pac. No, they give EACH OTHER a lot of trouble. It takes two to tango. They will always make for good fights.
What would have been even better is if Arum and Oscar were not fighting and trying to keep fights in house like 2 lil girls mad at the world, they are destroying the sport
I could not have said it better man. For all those claims from Oscar about trying to clean up the sport the fans are the ones who constantly lose in all of this. Nevermind the fact that you can't get ringside seats unless you are a celebrity.
They don't care about you. Don't believe the hype.
The crazy thing is Pac did not have to fight JMM again. Had he signed with GB I doubt we would have seen a trilogy. Mainly because there would have been other options for Pac. I just wonder if the smear campaign that happened would have actually existed had he signed with GB.

He fought Goldenboy fighters along the way anyway? De La Hoya/Hatton
Its just that the FLoyd fight definetly would have happened cuz look at who Floyd has fought all Goldenboy fighters...

He wouldn't have signed with them. TR was only thing saving him from the third fight with JMM. He was avoiding that fight since '08 and his team and promoter came up with every excuse in the book not to fight him. First it was a fight no one wanted to see, then it was weight, then it was money, then finally in 2011 team Pacquiao thought JMM was too old and out of his element above 140 so thy fought him.
That's what's so funny, JMM has been chasing Manny all these years and know the tables have turned.
