Have you ever watched a fight where you support both fighters?

Kessler - Froch I/II are really the only ones I can think of of fighters where I actively support both men. I often 'like' both fighters in a fight though.

Why do you need to "support" a fighter? If a guy is sh*t, hope he loses and not get lucky. If both guys are good...then may the best man win...and enjoy the show!

In the upcoming Garcia/Matthysse fight I can't make up my mind on who to support as I like both fighters. Garcia was the underdog against khan and the majority of people did not expect him to win. Matthysse is the knockout artist who actually seems like a decent guy. Both are skilled fighters and earn my respect. Anyone else watched a fight where you can't make up your mind on who to clearly support? Yes, that happens to me all the time. I favor a certain fighter and find it hard to root for one or the other but mosty I just want to see a good fight. I was rooting for Roy Jones when he fought Calzaghe but I also didn't really want to see Calzaghe lose his undefeated record so I was kind of in the middle as a fan of both.

Absolutely..for me though, It makes the fight more enjoyable, because Im not on edge rooting for one particular fighter to win.. the only thing I hope is that it will go the full 12 rounds, so that neither suffers a KO/TKO.. upcoming fight with Lucas-Garcia is the latest, while I would love for Matthysse to win for a possible future match with Floyd..I would love to see Swift be victorious and prove the nay sayers wrong..(also hes a cool dude, met him a few months back, even his dad was cool..though hes normally annoying!)

I have mixed emotions about Garcia-Matthysse. I would consider myself a fan of Matthysse but some of the hype and nuthugging from his "new fans" makes me think that I wouldn't mind if Garcia won.

mayweather and marquez are my two absolute favourites so i was a bit conflicted there. before the fight i decided to root for marquez since he was the underdog, but i enjoyed floyd's performance in the end.
