For real, 24/7 smashes all access.Hbo's endings alone dominate a whole episode of all access...I cant wait till pacquiao-rios 24/7..
On another note.. They gave a shout out to Boxingscene on episode 2
24/7 is more dramatic, while All Access is more raw!
I started to get restless with 24/7's heightening editing approach, whilst being let down with stale personalities!
I will say I miss Liev Schreiber's commentating throughout the All Access series, but thats about it!
All Access is more boxing geared towards actual knowledgeable fans of the sport, the other is for casuals to get hyped to gain interest in the fight!
Each has its target audience.
In the end who really cares, Floyd created both..hes just getting his actual producer credit this time!

I couldn't agree more. Narration, writing, or cinematography aren't the same.
This is better than 360 they're still learning the production side but its improved from the Guerrero one.
Got to disagree with you there; I thought the FC 360 for the Super Six was the best out there. No narration was a bold move and I loved it.
I might be part of the minority here but i thoroughly enjoy watching the show. Watching two superstars in their comfort zone, during their rigid training and enjoying their time being simply human... makes the fighters that much more identifiable amongst us fans. Sure, we don't have all the riches Floyd possesses, sure most of us can't indulge in that lifestyle, but it's interesting to see and hear the way Floyd perceives his hardships, opposed to the image that is projected during interviews and pressers.
Drama is cool and all but forcing it in this situation would make make the genuine feeling disappear. I am looking forward to watching the next episode :) . May the best man win come Sept 14th.
Say, what do you know? Another nicely-reasoned, well-written post. Thumbs up.
I agree....I don't think anything can top Mayweather vs Hatton 24/7. The GOAT 24/7.
I liked Martinez vs Chavez 24/7 the most lmao
And the face off with Kellerman they did was cool because Sergio flamed him up lol

I also enjoyed the 24/7 series better but they where getting played out towards the last couple of series. They tried the same method with each fighter and it just seemed so scripted. (which it is) They should just put up more of the fighters training and I'm good with that. And that Common guy was freaking lame. I'm sure All access is going to get better but its going to take some time for them to come up with some new material that hasn't been seen before

Let's just be plain honest here. You hate All Access because you hate Floyd Mayweather. That's it. Everything remotely associated with Mayweather, you guys hate. That's how it works here, cute, but childish. I wonder how many of you are in your mid 30's and over.
Now, there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism/feedback but this is not even close to it.
Oh, by the way. Mayweather had a great part in HBO's 24/7. If I recall correctly, it was actually his idea and vision in the first place. Now you can crawl under your beds and hate on 24/7 too...
With that said, I don't think All Access is that bad but they're using a safe formula. Common is my man but he didn't fit well in the narrator seat. Pepper is better.
All Access indeed sucks balls
I was hoping they would give at least 1 episode for Matthysse-Garica but its Floyd doing the same thing he always does and Canelo who has the same amount of personality as a peice of wet cardboard
wa actually hoping they were gonna something for the lead up to Matthyse-Garcia as well sso all the casual fans realized how big this fight is, and your pretty much getting 2 PPV's for one.
Once again Mayweather has other big names with him to help with PPV sales. Caneelo alone is a major help, not to mention Mathyse and Garcia is a hell of a fight.
canelo is carrying the series for me. i've seen mayweather on so many of these that it just gets old. every series is the same stuff with him. i like the introductions of new characters. like bradley on pac/bradley.
I completely agree!!!!! I was watching All Access last thinking I see the same thing from Mayweather everytime!!! Nothing changes in any episode every fight.
I'm more interested in the Canelo side, not just because I am a fan but it is just more interesting!
All Access changing the narrator helped.
Thank you! I could barely listen to the rapper (Common), who seemed to feel it his duty to deliver every sentence like it carried the weight of millennia of wisdom (gag). Barry Pepper is so much better.
I'm enjoying All-Access. Just accept it for what it is and stop comparing everything. It feels exactly like 24/7 in my opinion.
Exactly, I don't notice any difference. Both shows accomplish the same thing so it's a wash.
