Something like a 6 fight deal like they did Tyson and Mayweather.
If I'm not mistaken is he not a bigger PPV draw than Floydie?
Is he not the supreme guy for HBO ppv's since May is gone?
The beast is finished he still has some scrap in him but his time of dominance is over he had a great run no doubt respect to the pac man but these networks know wassup
Lets be real nobody knows what the Guerrero fight made or lost everything is rumor. And neither CBS or Showtime is worried money they are trying to rebuild back there boxing brand and guess what its working. Floyd will only fight on PPV so that has nothing to do with there regular boxing budget. The more fighters you can have as PPV stars the more you can build up fighter like Mares or Santa Cruz. The Broner PPV is a feeler to see what type of drawing power he has.
Pure speculation... Like u said above nobody really knows...
Is that why HBO didn't want to do business with Golden Boy anymore is because they was laughing so hard. Ask HBO do they wish they had Mayweather vs Canelo only a liar would say no hell why do you think Time Warner is holding out on this dispute for so long.
Y?

Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn 4h
According to Nielsen, Saturday's Gonzalez-Mares fight drew 481k viewers. Showtime's main event average this year is 592k. #boxing
The NSAC has already verified his less than 10mil guarantees, and his own country wrote a article a few years ago stating the guys net worth was only 26mil. Fans drink too much KoolAid to look at the facts, and unfortunately just because you follow Paquiao still, doesn't mean he's as relevant to others as he once was.
This has been explained many times, his NSAC guarantee =/= his full guarantee. Per Rafael, he's been making 26m+ since JMM 3 at least.
Who cares if its on HBO PPV or not, Pacquiao been taking short money for years. The only way that dude will ever come close to making 40 mil in a fight is at the bookie window in the casinos. He might as well bet on Rios and throw the fight, because its over for him in America domestically.
He blew it.
The dude makes in the ballpark of $20 million when he fights, that's not exactly "short money" where I'm from.
Manny Pacquiao made a lot of people, myself included, fans of boxing. He will have a following for as long as he continues to fight, in America or elsewhere.
Is this to sell khan in Dubai? Because an Alexander fan base couldn't sell out a McDonald's.
Khan is of Pakistani origin. He can sell fights in the Middle East. Same as Pac, being Asian, selling his fights in Asia.
BTW....what deal in Dubai...?
Khan vs Alexander, I don't know if it's finalized.
Point is, the intentions of these promoters to make
deals outside of the US are there.

It will be on HBO PPV retard.
It's amazing how so many Money followers don't recognize China is where serious money is made in the 21st century.
Mark my word. They'll flip flop when Schaefer follows the China money trail.
BTW, Schaefer just made a deal in Dubai.

Or maybe because NOBODY would buy the PPV of two losers in the States. It would have to be on Friday Night Fights or HBO BAD. Would you buy Rios vs Roidman on HBO PPV? The China thing is a mask.
It will be on HBO PPV retard.

In China, for $2 to 5 a pop. How the mighty or should I say how the midget has fallen. If it were in the States, the card would be on FNF or BAD. Got it, smart guy?

You couldn't be more wrong dumba$$. It will be distributed on HBO PPV in the States, usual time. It won't even be a PPV in China yet, but when they get that going, watch out.

You can have all the money you want; nobody wanted to watch the fighters Showtime had. Very few people can recall what happened in the Super 6. They have a roster thats probably better than HBO's and can put on more intriging fights. Where HBO has them is they have 7 mil more subscribers if they can close that gap than they will be considered the #1 Boxing network. hell they are now but viewership says otherwise.
Fighters go where the money is.
Not sure what you're talking about on viewership. HBO trounces SHO, boxing or other. For example, Showtime got good ratings for Broner, but only like 10% higher than GGG, which cost 4x less. That's bad business, paying 4x more for 10% gains
Oh the deal was good for Floyd no doubt. But it was bad for the network, and that's why HBO didn't offer it to Floyd or Pac or anyone. Of course, the losses would be smaller on HBO cause their brand is stronger
We do not know if it was bad for the network or not. Or maybe they are willing to lose some money now while getting more subscribers for the long run. Plus now since Mayweather is fighting in Showtime. The casuals fans now know that Showtimes shows boxing if they didn't know before.
