How many times do you have to be called on the crap about Mayweather ducking Kostya or Mosley. Kostya was never a viable fight due to divsions then injury then retirement after losi g to Hatton. They was no ducking because a fight was never even close to being negociated.
And we know Mosley had no interest in facing a Mayweather worth much less money when DLH was in his sights. Also in 2006, it was Mosley who went to vacation to get his tooth fixed when a fight was offered. I know you like regurgitating this nonesense even when it has no relevance to the topic. But try to stick to the facts- when they're relevant.
Welterweights have indeed gone up to face middleweights. Career ones. How many super-feathers have? How did they fare? Again, why is Ray Leonard a template for what Mayweather could or should be able to do?
The Pac retards come up with this lame stuff because they argue hype , they don't know boxing only hype , so everything is face value to them , to debate them Marvelous1 is a Ferris wheel of spin .
this is a man who retired to avoid losing to welters during his prime, he came bck when they were over the hill and battle worn, he then ducked his biggest challenger like the plague
this is a man who ws visibly afraid of margarito
just have a look at this video, mayweather talks tash aabout margo nd then realises he is behind him lmao and shizzles himself
a man who has ducked a prime kostya, mosley, cotto, margo, pacman and williams, he ducked them because he thought he would lose, floyd could not beat hagler at 160, hell everyone of the fab 4 would have knocked floyd out, if floyd fought the best fighters (he admits in the video he will not face the best) he would have had losses, so he retired or paid them step aside money to duck them

Your logic is flawed as usual,,,,,
you can say take away SRL, hearns, duran and mugabi, but thats crazy, take away hatton, genaro, oscar, corrales and jlc,,, and floyd dont have much either,,,,
yes if they were the same size, floyd would most likely win..
but the thread says at 160,,,, so at 160 hagler stomps a mud hole in him...
attention to details
Not so flawed after all ,
If you read a post as whole , I know you guys love plucking out of context but attention to details will give the meaning of what a poster is saying .
Ah Manny the flyweight Floyd the monster LOL , only 2 pounds between them going by all recorded weights from 130 up .
Ray would be harder to beat for Floyd than Hagler , Hagler you could steal round after round if you could box like Floyd , if you came to fight him he would monster you , even Duran boxed 15rnds with him , and to be honest 95% of Hagler resume Floyd would beat , take Leonard Hearns Duran and Mugabi out and you don't really have much left .
If Hagler and Floyd were the same size , I would put my house on Floyd to give him a boxing lesson , I don't know why guys keep coming up with such weight disparity fantasy fights , all I can think of is they only see one guy flogging another they don't see why .

weak comparison considering any flyweight would get stomped by him,, manny tops out at about 148 pounds,,,, Floyd is bigger,,
hagler would stop both

I reckon Floyd would last a lot longer than Manny LOL , Floyd might even steal it as he is a much better boxer than some of Marvins opponents that went close , but Manny would be stomped without the beat up , Manny would be just flattened in a round or 2 .

Hagler beats floyd down,,,
I dont even know how this is a serious thread,,,,
It would look alot like when oscar fought hopkins,,,
total mismatch,,,,,
floyd has better skills, but hagler beats him up and stomps him

Floyd couldn't beat Hagler right now if he walked into the Money team Gym at 60 years old well maybe thats pushing it a bit but you get the drift
The drift is you know more about cartoons than about boxing .
SRL did it? Could floyd do it
Possibly the same Hagler Ray beat , he was a good notch or too from his peak at that time and Floyd could possibly steal it the same way , Hagler had a habit of roboting and just following a fighter and boxing , if he did that he could lose against Floyd .
The biggest factor is Ray has a good 5 pounds on Floyd in real weight , Floyd hardly drys out to make WW , Ray did , I think Floyd at 160 would look like a muscle bound Jeff Lacy and lose all his speed which is taking away his biggest asset .
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
What about the Hagler who spent a fairly sizeable portion of ten rounds following a Mexican journeyman by the name of Marcos Geraldo around in circles, hopelessly flailing and missing many punches along the way?
the prime hagler, the ambidextrious boxer-puncher, would walk fmj down...
the past prime hagler, the version who fought hearns, duran, srl, etc., would walk floyd down...
i give floyd 3 to 5 rounds...

Best post I've seen in very long time^^^^^ everything right here is the truth!
How on earth will the Alvarez fight give us any insight as to how Floyd would do against HAGLER?
Canelo wouldn't last two rounds with Marvin.
Came back to type this.
How would you classify Floyd, that is the consensus too, and the man walks around closer to the 147 mark than any other WW out there. That seems to rub you the wrong way for some odd reason.
He is a champ in both the jmw and ww divisions. Take that however you want. Doesnt really matter what he walks around at because he has fought bigger men in higher divisions before.
If he can fight big dudes at 154 that should not be "forgotten"--especially when the isht just happened.
Is Floyd smaller? absolutely...but youse are overplaying that hand.
It'll be easier to imagine after we see what he does in the Canelo fight
