look at the history here with Floyd.
Out of the two undefeated fighters he fought for world titles, Corrales and Hatton, both were KO'd in the 10th round
Canelo is cutting too much weight, he sucks at cutting the ring off and has to follow Floyd all night, he gasses way to fast and Floyd is smart enough to take advantage of that.
By the time the 10th round comes around, Floyd would have caught Canelo enough times where he's too tired to do anything and Canelo's corner will either throw the towel in or the ref will stop the fight.
Third consecutive 10th round KO where Floyd beat out an undefeated fighter for a title.

prediction bang on but...
doubt floyd hands will hold out and i expect canelo has a solid chin and desire to survive
I see people are putting a lot of stock in the one punch that rocked a present day, 23 year old Canelo 3 years ago, especially since Canelo went on to stop Cotto. You guys better hope this fight doesn't play out like that fight because if it does, the new era of boxing has arrived.
I don't think the weight will be a factor. Canelo typically fights at 154, and is only being asked to drop two lbs. the night before the fight. There is no re-hydration clause, so Canelo can balloon up as much as he wants come fight night (which he typically does). I do think Mayweather can hurt him though. That being said, I don't expect him to be aggressive enough to get the KO. I see him picking Canelo apart with his trademark straight right and jumping left hook.. I hope Mayweather does take a few extra risks though, and go for the KO. A KO against Canelo really would cement Mayweather's legend, and would quiet the critics.. Though, i'm sure the haters would STILL find excuses to discredit him (ie Canelo was weight drained, Canelo was too young, wasn't ready, etc.).
I don't post in here enough to bet you...if it was worth it and if you were actually confident that this is what will happen, I'd bet you real money instead of bogus web site points.
def won't be the case come sept 14th though..
when is the last time Canelo has stopped an elite fighter...wait, he's only fought 1 in trout..ok
I'll be betting real dough, doe.
Floyd's zero days are numbered.
:unitedsta
Floyd will either get KTFO in the third round
or get brutalized for twelve rounds.
Can't wait.

Ortiz was soo much bigger, he started to get inside and hurt/frustrate Floyd, hence the sucker punch
He did? what fight were you watching? how many punches did ortiz even land in that fight..tell me that then talk about that fight dude...
Floyd didn't stop Marquez, but now he'll stop Canelo. :lol1: He'll win, but he's not stopping him.
Is that supposed to be a negative trait? That Floyd couldn't stop Marquez? Who's stopped Marquez before? :/
Don't think he was saying that's why.
He said that was a trend and gave a reasons why he thinks it could happen.
IMO, I think Floyd UD's him... maybe a MD if they give him a bump
I know he gave his reasons why Floyd would win by KO in ten rounds and he is entitled to his opinion.I still say the results of Floyd's fights with Hatton and Corrales have nothing what so ever to do with the possible outcome of Floyd's fight with Canelo and don't belong in the discussion. That Floyd KOed Hatton and Corrales in exactly ten rounds was a coincidence and not a trend in my opinion.
Floyd hurt Mosley, Cotto, Ortiz and Guerrero. He will hurt Alvarez as well. Most likely wont stop him but he will hurt him for certain. This will be a fresher, stronger and faster Floyd NOT coming off a prolonged lay off. Canelo will get schooled badly.

Mark my words. canelo will be shutout. i know floyd. i just know how he thinks in the broad sense of the meaning.........if that makes any sense.lol.
this is how he wins his fights guy. he knows his distance by round 2, u know why? because he reads your movement in round 1. he feints you, fakes you out, moves you and turns you. he reads your offense against him and works on his defensive gameplan all in the opening round. he'$ calculating guys. never forget that.
canelo needs to work on his comfortable habits that he has mastered to use against floyd. by this i mean natural nuances. punches without thinking too much.
floyd will dictate the pace of both he and saul. he mastered that years ago. controlling the pace even on defense. using you to beat you. and capitalizing off of your twitching. its like demon shadow people for those who are familiar with them.lol. they tend to show up when you're up for a few days or strung out on some type of methanphetamine. you see something out of the corner of your eye and it makes you twicth, and then drives you crazy everytime you turn your head to look at it and its not there. that type of movement keeps you unsure and mentally drains you and floyd does that in so many words anyway.lol.
long story short, canelo is in for an asswhooping. lets just leave it at thay.
So which is it?? Is he getting stopped or just an "ass whooping" for 12 rounds? Hahaha
Not a chance in hell. That Hatton KO was almost 6 years ago. He hasn't been close to KO anyone (and no the Ortiz sucker punch doesn't count) since. He couldn't KO a JMM coming up from 135, he couldn't KO old man Mosley who gassed out after the first 3 rounds. And in his last fight he could have gotten to a former lightweight in Ghost whenever he wanted and couldn't put him down. Floyd may win but there is 0 chance he knocks anyone out with those brittle hands. Floyd is all about protection, he is content on pot shotting and winning rounds than knocking anyone out. He won't take that risk especially with Floyd Sr. in his corner.
No, I'll just pull a you and say i did and if it loses say I covered it with another fight that already happened.
Don't need proof because I said it happened
You mistake me for someone who cares. I bet a tenner on Cleverly by TKO for a laugh basically because it was the LEAST LIKELY outcome. It was a throwaway bet. I was never brazenly predicting that Cleverly was going to destroy Kovalev. That was you and all I said was "why don't you bet on it?".
You somehow turn it around on me and claim you've exposed me? For what exactly? You just look pathetic bragging to someone who said he thought it was a 50/50 fight whilst you bet on the MOST LIKELY outcome :lol1:
what's funny to me is all of a sudden we have a ton of boxing experts. All of a sudden everyone in here as worked on floyds hands to know how brittle they are.
yes it is true floyd has hands problems, but last time I checked most knockouts come from punches you don't see, not necessarily the hardest punches. Sure tons of knockouts come from hard hitting heavy handed punchers, but the other % come from punches you don't see.
is it possible floyd will can knock canelo out, yes. Just like it's possible canelo can knock floyd out, it's boxing.
It will go to the cards, canelo will give floyd problems for a few rds, and then floyd will figure him out and pot shot him all night, which may end up in a stoppage from canelos trainers.
great fight ahead of us though, we shall see how it plays out.
