The Ring ratings are getting sad

Oscar owns the Ring so the rankings will always be favorable to fighters he promotes. Oscar says he doesn't have anything to do with the running of the Ring but he owns it and the writers work for him so of course he does have plenty to do with the ratings and who is on the cover etc. . If Canelo beats Mayweather he won't need Mares's spot in the pfp. rankings. He will take over Mayweather's place as the #1 pfp fighter.

The Ring is owned by GBP, they are using the magazine as a promotional tool. It really is as simple as that but some of there rankings are decent. I like their MW rankings and the RaNkings at SMW, LHW as well as HW.

The Ring may be biased but their ratings offer a lot of creditability compared to the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO.

Guys... if you can see that the Ring rankings are crap, don't assume the TBRB's or any other rankings only based on the opinions of a bunch of writers pulling names out of their ass can be better. RING lost it's credibility when they gave Casamayor the RING title after jobbing Santa Cruz in the robbery of the decade. They didn't give it to him, they fail to strip him of it. That's normally a tough call with a robbery, where do you draw the line. but this one was really the worst, no exaggeration.

Yep, it's shameful. Canelo's 2nd best win is still a shot Mosley. A better version of Mosley at a better weight for him was graded by many posters as an F as a Pac win. But they pulled a neat trick. They appointed Chuck Giampa as head of p4p ratings, and gave him total control. So when people say the rankings are corrupt, they can just say, Chuck made that call, nothing we can do about it. Our hands are clean. Exactly. Whenever you get mad at The Ring ratings, just remember this is the guy that's calling the shots:
