After Senchenko, he needs to fight a legit top 10 guy, not from a sanctioning body's top 10 either. Wouldn't mind a Broner fight, but I don't see it happening.
Who knows, I'd favor almost all of the top ten over him. But i wouldnt be surprised if he beats most of them. He has talent but hasn't proven anything. There's a lot of good fights at ww and Brooks looks like he has the tools to compete. But until he steps up and prove it, he's the underdog to me.
147 is deep if everyone fights one another.
I'm a Brook fan. But he really hasn't shown anything to suggest he's 100% beating Alexander, Guerrero, Maidana, Thurman, etc. I mean he struggled greatly with Carson Jones the first time around.
He needs to step up after Senchenko. He needs to fight someone like Ortiz or Lopez at the very least next.
He does need a step up in comp no doubt but I've seen enough of Brooks to know he has the talent and the physical tools, what he needs now is the dedication and the right fights. I think he is really, really annoyed with the turn of events and he needs Hearn to negotiate a big fight for him but it looks like Hearn has discarded Brook...hopefully for the meanwhile only.
I liked him but I've seen him underperform too many times against lesser opposition. Like everyone else is saying it's kinda hard to tell cause he hasn't fought anyone we could gauge him against.
He should fight Malignaggi, even that's a step up too.
I'd pick Broner, Thurman and Guerrero to beat him. Brook couldn't handle Jones' pressure or power (Jones isn't even that big a puncher), how does he handle Guerrero who not only applies more pressure, is a better puncher but has a damn good chin to go with it.
I think Brook is underrated in a sense, I do think he can improve but sometimes he seems too stiff.
MAN is Brook underrated and sadly he hasn't had the best of luck this year.
People might think I'm mad but looking at the so called WW top 10 (how Broner is there is anyone's guess) I think Brook beats them all, except for Pac, Floyd, JMM and Bradley. Other than that he has fun against Broner and Thurman, a war with Maidana, and fun fights against Guerrero and some of the other 2nd tier guys. I really hope he gets to prove himself at some point soon. He has all the tools of a star.

I think Broner-Brook would be a good fight between two guys who want to prove themselves.
the midget gets stomped, noway will that fight happen...EVER ! !
anybody with a pulse
