Your thoughts on Pacquiao's chin.

His chin is world class, and it's laughable that people are even debating whether it is or not simply based on the fact that he was rendered unconscious by a shot that would've rendered any other fighter in his division unconscious. He's taken flush shots from legends like Barrera, Morales, and Marquez as well as shots from much bigger hall of famers like Cotto and Margarito. You guys are ridiculous.

I think it was a combination of Marquez punch and Pacquaios momentum moving forward which caused the KO. I think in normal circumstances Marquez won't KO Pacquaio and vice versa. It u look at the fight right before the ko, PAC tripped and went forward, soon as he tripped u see his body twitch, like when your shooked u twitch and for that split second your engergy level drops and that's right when Marquez caught him. Lights out.

Floyd's like that kid you see in a street fight video that's scared to fight, so his big brother steps in for him, and KOs the other guy, then the kid starts jumping up and down saying, "what!? what!? Now what!?", even though he didn't do ****. LMFAO. Umm not really. Real talk tho in 2009 id favor PAC to be the one to dethrone floyd but after seeing PAC decline floyd would tax that ass.

I'd say his punch resistance only went down CUZ he takes those long breaks inbetween those 2 fights doing absolutely nothing to do with boxing Look at Floyd, even when he didnt have a fight, he's doing push-ups, sits ups , mitts and heavy bag Sergio Martinez's trainer said too that he saw the end of Pacquiao coming soon because his mind was on everything politics, drinking, gambling, cheating on Jinkee lol He warned Sergio to just remain focused on BOXING all year round or its the end too especially at their age

He had a good chin. The seal has been well and truly broken now though.

Pacquiao's chin is very good. He fell into the punch and it was perfect punch. Marquez has pinpoint accuracy as well.

Manny has always had a pretty solid chin considering the amount of wars he has been in an the last 10-12 years has only gone down when jmm put him to sleep,,,, His punch resistance may be eroding little by little,,, will be interesting to see how it holds up vs a pressure dog fighter like rios

Just so we all understand what having a chin means...if Pac gets rocked/banged/backed up...and still keeps going (and winning) it means he has a chin. We dont know what the KO will do to this and we are all just going to have to wait and see.

I think it's good his k.o was as much his fault as Marquez it's just being made more of what it really is, let's say they both should gotten credit for his K.O he literally jumped into Marquez incoming punch idc who you are 9 out of 10 times that will put you to sleep.

I mean, he'll be 35 soon, which means he's getting up there. there is no rule that says a fighter's chin gets worse with age

going into the last fight it was as good as ever, the KO punch was just a perfect shot that would have the same impact at any stage of his career imo. full force, right on the chin, never saw it coming and ran right into it. you dont get up from those shots. if that knockout had some long term effects on his ability to take a punch remains to be seen. at his age and with the wear and tear he already suffered it very well could.

Other than that fight, when was the last time we saw him rocked like that? Uh, JMM vs Pac 1 and 2?

If PAC had a slightly weaker chin, we wouldn't even be talking about him being an ATG. The difference between ATGs, and great fighters is their chins. He had the durability to go on to beat all those great fighters.

Pac got knocked out by a guy who gained one punch KO power at the age of 39, read into that what you will. Pac has an ATG chin, I haven't seen him wobbled when he's been hit by guys like Marg, Cotto, Hatton, Morales, Barrera, all those guys are hard hitters. I still think Pac takes the majority of punches from every guy from 135-147...except Hulk Marquez.
