people don't give Danny Garcia any credit at all. He came up and did what he had to do 26 times regardless of what you guys say was his level of competition and even when he had beaten people that the media claimed he is "supposed" to lose to.
Last night while watching the fights I heard the commentator call it the "Matthysse fight" which really got me thinking about this.
Like it or not, he is the champion and the #1 140 in the world. Just because people think he has limited skills doesn't mean he that doesn't deserve the credit he should have earned or any of the belts that he has.
There is a reason why his career is where it's at right now. It's because he has beaten all of the other men that were put in front of him. Not because Al Haymon or Golden Boy says at the top is where he belongs. Everyone needs to stfu and give this man credit where credit is due.
I just wanna see a slugfest...personally I think Garcia and lucus are overrated...but so are most of todays fighters...I just wanna b entertained for once

This is a good fight that is happening when it is suppose to happen.
There have been other misses recently ala Floyd/Pac, Bradly/Khan that we never got

NSB is just full of posters that don't have the ability to simply admit they were wrong about a fighter when he wins a fight they say he wouldn't. He beat Morales when he wasn't favored to, he upset Khan, beat morales in erik's contractually obligated rematch and then defeated zab (WHERE LUCAS COULDN'T). Nothing to complain about in the real world.
Danny will get his chance to shut everyone up and earn limitless praise on Sept 14th.
That's right. If he proves me and his other haters wrong, I'll give him his credit.
Every sport has a large amount of fans who call the best bums. Tom Brady's called a bum, Lebron James is called a bum, Alexander Ovechkin is called a bum. Landon Donovan is called a bum here in the States. Danny Garcia sure as hell isn't as good at boxing as any of those guys are at their sports.
Get out of here with the "boxing fans are so ungrateful and disrespectful" stuff. Every sport has fans just as bad and most have worse.
All of these people are called bums because we have many stupid fans that are delusional and need something to ***** about while they're favorite team, player, or boxer gets dominated by them.
You're obviously new to this site because a lot of boxing fans are just *******s, and it's just gonna piss you off more and more when you realize how many ridiculous people there are on this site. It's one of the only sports where top fighters are called bums by the fans.

I bet you don't give the same credit to every fighter who "beat everyone in front of them."
He won both his belts from guys coming off losses. He was the favorite against everyone except Khan, despite all the "he's never supposed to win" bullsh*t Garcia fans spew. He underachieved against Judah, he was supposed to knock him out and most around here certainly thought he would. His career has been handled very well to put him in the position he is now.
He's going to get killed against Lucas, because he's nothing more than an okay fighter in the midst of his 15 minutes earned for the Khan win.
