Boxing has to have some of the worst fans ever

I have never seen a sport where the best fighters can be called bums and hype jobs by people on internet forums over and over again and it seems OK. It is ridiculous,where is the respect,these fighters give their lives to dedicate their craft to rise to the very top of their sport only to be disrespected by the very people who they put their lives on the line for to entertain.It is amazing,and crazy at the same damn time,makes me ashamed i watch the same sport as these clowns bro, take a break from these forums. believe it or not, most real boxing fans out there in the real world actually have different opinions than the neck-beards in their parents basements who live on NSB. seriously, people on here don't represent real boxing fans, far from it

Not even close. Basketball and NFL fans are much more numerous and say and do things that make boxing fans look like the greatest fans of anything ever.

People like boxing but become fans of boxers which is where all the hate comes from. Same thing with NFL and NBA. Everyone that is into it will always say they love the sport, but they are fans of a specific team and will trash their rivals as much as possible.
