Are there any "great white hopes" as far as USA boxers go, in any division?
Kelly Pavlik looked, once upon a time, like he was going to do some good things in his career. He had his flaws, of course, but he's about the last white boxer from the USA that I can remember who looked like he could be great.
There's no denying the influence of MMA on "white America."

Great White Hope is a stupid term, it belongs in the early 20th century, fitting that South African Coetzee was the last one (and a bogus one at that).
