Trembling, lmao. You don't have to take it that far. Posters will respond. Floyd should not have asked for the CW. But, Floyd didn't want a Gatti-Gamache type situation where a guy weighs 20 lbs more than him. I'm in agreement of same day weigh-ins, and we wouldn't have to worry about weight. Do the weigh in early in the morning.
I don't know if Cotto and Dlh came in close to 170 for their 154 lb fights with Floyd.
These 154lb guys like Trout, Kirkland, Angulo and Canelo are big 154lber's, and bigger than natural ww's.
With that said...Canelo should come in at 154. I would.
Floyd isn't the only guy that's fought bigger dudes. He did however talk mad $h!t about his opposite, then turned right around and did the same $h!t. No pass, no excuse. This conduct was unworthy of greatness.
They should just go back to same day weigh ins like Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali all had to go through. Then this wouldn't be an issue.
But we'd probably see a lot of guys losing their titles on the scales.
Here's what I understand. Numbers do not lie. Floyd has fought at 154 twice before and he didn't need a catchweight to do it. However, he know needs 1 for his 3rd go. Sounds like he in all his greatness saw something in Canelo that made him tremble at the thought of fighting him at 154.Trembling, lmao. You don't have to take it that far. Posters will respond. just because he did it means its not risky? esp against the biggest fighter hes ever fought by far???
That's all fine and good but it's for a 154 pound title, both fighters should be allowed to weigh up to 154......you got a belt there, you can fight there.
The funny thing is that Floyd will look taller and longer. Canelo will look like he is a weight class bigger. Floyd will see Canelo's punches coming, Canelo won't see Floyd's punches coming. Canelo should come in at 154. Canelo will be strong early, but then fade as Floyd's jab, defense and precision punching take over.
Floyd is the CW king. Canelos biggest fight will be trying to make weight and take all that excess off.
By the time Canelo steps in the ring, he will feel as if has already fought bruce lee.
:WORD: well yeah, compared to the LW that he normally fights!
Says the guy who's idol has been fighting blown up LWs in his last several fights...cough cough JMM and now Rios....oh wait,Bradley was a JWW,so we can't count him-lol. At least Floyd doesn't get ko'd by LWs!
The bold, funny sentiment. Considering the fact that Floyd has already fought at 154 twice without the need for a catchweight. Unless of course we look at the state of the opponent.

Did you miss it??:dunno:

Hopefully Canelo can make weight lol.
Very light weight to be at for a 154lbs fight, very risky move took by Floyd.

He's not given enough credit for succeeding in a 4th and 5th weight class, whilst being in his 30s. Really speaking most fighters leave their best days behind them when they surrender their physical advantages by moving up a weight class.
Do you just post stuff like this just to be posting it?because there is 0 truth behind it
Canelo-154 champ
Cotto-154 champ
Guerrero-had 2 fights at 147 and was the #2 ww
Ortiz-was 165 on fight night
Shane-fights at ww and 154
what are you talking about?you have Manny in your avy and he hasnt even fought a legit ww since he fought shane in 2011
Just ignore the youth.
