Wlad HOFer if he gets KOed by Povetkin and retires?

wilder is the only other great fighter in his era. i can understand why wlad won't fight him. 29-0 29 knockouts is certainly a ko loss for wlad. he's already sparred with wilder so he knows just how dead he will be if the fight did take place. I guess he can go on fighting fat slobs like povetkin for a few years and coming up with injuries or other shananigans to duck wilder but he won't be getting my vote for the hall of fame till he steps up and gets ko'd by wilder. i know he won't win but just taking the fight and being destroyed in the process will earn my respect. wilder was created by god to destroy the klitschko's 1h 39 min... As FLoyd says, "they will always create another opponent"....by opponent, he means someone who is pegged to "define a legacy"...Wilder is big and powerful...but that doesn't make him the missing link between Wlad and the HOF...just because Haye stunk it out, that doesn't reduce the accomplishment for WLad....at that time, people were saying Haye was his biggest and most dangerous challenge since a prime Sam Peter...then after the fight, the victory is brushed off like it doesn't matter...WLad did his job... wilder was created by god to destroy the klitschko's

He's already in the HOF for his body of work. Not everyone has an Ali-like career available to him. For what he has done, he deserves it. Povetkin will not change that.
