Lets have it real, Deontay Wilder is a glorified bum.

lol at tyson fury being a "rounded technician" :rofl: that said wilder isnt all that good. he was a tremendous prospect when he turned pro, there s no doubt in my mind that he is among the most talented HWs in boxing history. but talent only gets you so far, it needs to be honed and i dont think it has. he is still a very, very, VERY raw fighter who just gets by on athletic ability. that wont hold up at the highest level though, the fighters on top of the division might not be quite as talented as he is, but they have way more skills and boxing intelligence. i dont like the term bum to describe any fighter, especially a once in a lifetime athlete like wilder. but he isnt very good, i cant deny that. I actually believe at the moment that both fighters are a bit overrated. Wilder has yet to prove himself. And Fury looked really bad in that last fight. Both have potential. Can they beat Wladimir? Forget it. Can they make an entertaining fight against him? Probably :) But I seriously believe that Hughie Fury is a much more rounded, much more disciplined boxer that will outshine both of them in some years. And well - Anthony Joshua seems even better.

I like Wilder but he his hiding some major glass. Fury is funny as hell, but he's also hiding major glass. Bottom line is... They both suck. I would pick Wilder over Fury doe yea,,theyre both vulnerable for different reasons. wilder's bigger power may pull him through but I wouldnt be surprised if fury could take wilder out late if he gets past the 5th round. tough fight to call imo

That's reaching based on a lot of unknowns. Wilder is untested and unproven. This is the worst resume for any heavyweight with more than 30 fights that I've ever seen. Pitiful.

Wilder was around 200lbs in the amateurs, he's literally gained 30lbs or so since then. Btw I find it funny the only people that keep talking about Wilder are mainly Fury/Klitschko fans, like they feel threatened or something lol. This guy is still fighting for chump change, hasn't earned a purse more than 5 figures, he's not hyped up by any means. i think Wilder is only like 220 actually.

Despite that video Deontay still went on to win a bronze medal in the Olympics. And he continues to improve. I don't get why people are in such a rush for him to step up and to get beat. Let the kid get better on his own time table.

hahahaha Tyson fury gets KO'ed in 2 because Deontay wants to take him out slowly I'd fancy Deontay over Fury, too. Fury is NOT well-rounded at all. It'd be a battle of limited HWs: Fury has an OK jab and heart to get up from the canvas; Wilder has a huge right hand.

A rounded technician like a Tyson Fury would complete destroy this tomato. This guy belongs in county fairs, not boxing. He is a bum. I agree, he's faced absolutely nobody of consequence. He cherry picked his way to the heavyweight KO record and is just waiting for the Klitschko's to both retire before attempting a move.

Yikes, there is always a reason soft competition. Even if all heavyweights bar a select few are vulnerable. Heavyweights are just too big not to be susceptible to a KO. Time for Wilder to take the Thompson test. If Wilder did fight Fury depending on the odds I would put my money where my mouth is. Fury would take him out.
