Apparently Murray recently tweeted that Golovkin never made him an offer to fight. Here is Murray's promoter Hatton saying that Golovkin made an offer which he turned down.

Speaking to Steve Bunce about Murray's next move, Hatton said: "We're hoping to make an announcement in the next few weeks. There are lots of offers coming in for Martin, but it's just about finding the right move at the right time.
"That's something I learnt from my old promoter, Frank Warren. This promoting game is all about timing and Martin's a real flavour of the month due to his wonderful performance.
"He's had offers - Golovkin one of them. Martin has no fear of fighting any of them and I think he's proved that by going to Argentina and going to Germany."
But Hatton knows from his own experience in the ring that there are benefits to pacing the flow of fights against top quality opposition. "I wanted to fight Kostya Tszyu three years before I boxed him and if I'd done that, he'd have beaten me," Hatton admitted. "It's all about the right timing - build the fight up, build the interest."
Either Murray is lying or his team has been lying to him which is making him look like an idiot. Hatton also admitting he ducked Tszyu for three years which he's now doing with his own fighters.
Easy to offer big money to a guy who can't fight in the US.
Then Murray would have no problem saying he accepted the offer but may have problems with his Visa so everything isn't 100% certain.
Instead he says he's never received an offer, meanwhile his promoter who is the person who received all of the official calls and such says he DID recieve an offer.
Sounds to me like Murray is not telling the truth or Hatton is protecting Murray from GGG. You think Murray hasn't seen the article with his own promoter saying he received an offer? He isn't stupid, he is being protected and playing dumb or not questioning his promoter.
Think more critically, please.
K2 offered Murray more money than he made fighting Martinez.

Would Hatton be stupid enough to speak openly about receiving an offer without having first told his boxer? Possibly but I doubt it.
Murray's not a ducker imo, he'd take the fight if everything was ironed out and made sense.
Would like for there to be more in it. But it's far more likely it's money/promoter/country/visa related over anything else.

Or the offer was for a fight in America and Murray can't fight in America yet.
All Murray said is he hasn't gotten an offer, Hatton said he got one.
Hatton is withholding information if Murray has said this twice
Oh, well it was in the first post.
Hatton confirms there was an offer and Murray still says he hasn't received an offer yet.
That means there was an offer, Hatton just didn't give it to Murray

I dont know. Dont follow these two enough to know that. Im asking from those who seem to follow them.

How is GGG lying?
Hatton confirmed that he had a offer from them.
Hatton most likely didn't show him the offer because he doesn't feel the fight is ready yet. He's coming of a draw and a loss, Hatton probably wants some wins under his belt.
Also didn't he say he wants to build the fight up?

So is the truth coming out? GGG the one lying or is Murray trying to just grab boxing headlines
We shall see soon but one thing I know is Team GGG are here riding that "Nobody wants to fight him" horse all over town, the problem is it would actually hurt him more in the end rather than help him. Most people knew Murray had a Visa issue and that's where every boxer wants to make their name in the end. If he can sort out his Visa problems then am expecting him to build himself up in America with one or two fights before he takes on GGG, because I don't see his promoter (Hatton) put him straight in there unless HBO puts a good deal of money on the table for the fight to go ahead straight up.

Martin Murray @MartinMurrayBox 3m
Got my date for the US visa embassy today. If all goes well you could see me in BIG fights in America very soon
Ah yes the classic signs of a ducker... Going out of his way to make sure he is able to travel to other fighters backyards (again) so he can land the biggest fights. Goddamn the murrays of this world ruining boxing :dunce:
Good find mr ehrmantraut
Golovkin has responded, and his manager is claiming Murray is making excuses.

lol at the retarded haters around here. Of all the boxers on the planet to hate Golovkin should most definitely be at the bottom of anybody's list. A big punching, exciting fighter that fights VERY often and is willing to take on anyone in his division ... yes i think i'll hate on him.
Some people want to hate on him for what? Calling out mayweather WTF??? Every boxer within 3 divisions of Floyd wants to fight him ... a fight with him means BIG bucks so whats wrong with wanting that?
eh I dunno ... bunch of virgin haters who've never stepped in the ring calling Golovkin of all people a ducker/coward ... sheesh go put your d*ick back in your mama's p*ssy cause that's the only p*ussy your sorry ass will ever get with ten yards of.
Wait who said anything about Mayweather here? Or who is hating on GGG here?
How is he suppose to duck Tsyzu when Tsyzu was injured for and even when he came back he had Sharmba Mitchell to deal with as a mandatory rematch.. Hatton was ACTIVELY chasing Tsyzu for years and wanted to fight him early, Warren refuse saying he wasn't ready but even in those times Tsyzu was injured. As much as I deride Hatton he alway wanted the Tsyzu fight from day ONE.
Hatton was too busy ducking Junior Witter like the Plaque to be ducking Tyszu!
Avoiding a boxer until he's old and you're confident you're fighting a diminished version of him is ducking yes.

Steve Kim @stevemaxboxing
I've asked the reps of GGG, if they would face Murray in the UK. Im told that HBO prefers he fight in the States in prime time #boxing
Murray has visa issues. Put two and two together.
