Boxers who would make the top 20 in my opinion: Canelo Alvarez, Danny Garcia, Lucas Matthysse, Gennady Golovkin, Adrien Broner, Mikey Garcia, Bernard Hopkins, Abner Mares, Vitali Klitschko
1. floyd- the kingpin until beaten

3. rigo- needs some more fights before he can surpass ward, but he is right behind him
4. JMM- will be the next off the list once bradley beats him
5. manny- got iced by another p4p top 5 guy....so he doesnt drop too far for me
6. bradley-- all he does is win, i think he beats jmm
7. Gonzales- best fighter nobody knows about
8. Froch-- Resume speaks volumes,,,
9. klitchko- dominant too long not to get props
10. M. garcia- he has all the skills
honorable mention-- donaire, ggg, serg, mares, broner, canelo, gamboa, crawford, lucas, danny
Pretty good. Donaire way too high considering the manner of which he lost to Rigondeaux though. I dropped all the way to 10 after that loss, but now he's 9 given Mares just lost too.
I can't have Bradley ahead of Froch. Froch has picked up wins over Bute and Kessler after the last time Bradley got a legit and real win, Alexander.
Broner also only really has a good win over DeMarco, a decent at best win over Paulie, and a solid but questionable win over Ponce.
I just think Rigondeaux is a exceptional boxer and I'm not going to punish Donaire for losing to him. Donaire would probably still beat everyone in the division.
1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
2. Andre Ward
3. Guillermo Rigondeaux
4. Juan Manuel Marquez
5. Nonito Donaire
6. Wladimir Klitschko
7. Manny Pacquiao
8. Sergio Martinez
9. Timothy Bradley
10. Carl Froch
11. Gennady Golovkin
12. Mikey Garcia
13. Canelo Alvarez
14. Adrien Broner/Lucas Matthysse
15. Abner Mares
I didn't really base my lists purely on resume. I took in how they stack up in the division. Show me a better list then this.

Also Danny and Lucas deserve to be listed in there "right there" category too. Danny has wins over Holt, Khan, Judah, and Morales. Lucas should have wins over Alexander and Judah, as well as his win over Peterson.

What is this crap? This isnt to discuss p4p lists, this is a bait thread. :lol1: I don't think i've ever seen a worse list in my life. I love Forch, but 2 p4p? And WARtthysse 1st? Comedy.
I said Cleverly was a tomato.
If you get iced in one round by a shot journeyman, you are not elite, let alone pound for pound top 10.
Gonzalez isn't a journeyman, a journeyman is someone like Soto Karass, Lopez. Gonzalez is a 3x champion now and was a Top 5 Featherweight going into the fight.
Mares was elite going in, what can't you comprehend about that? He was undefeated, a 3x champ in 3 weight classes, on one of the best runs in boxing. He got caught, it happens to the best of them.
