I was there. You should have seen it, Floyd is like, "Canelo, I can't fight you below 154. I am a defender of fairness in this sport, and I would never ever fight at a catchweight." Not sure how it's Canelo fault. The catch weight exists only to favor a certain fighter in this bout. Canelo is a very big 154lb fighter who would rather fight at a catch weight of 156 or even 158. Clearly this is for a 154lb title. Floyd who is shifting from 147 to 154 can only make it between those weight classes. The only advantage Canelo gets is the opportunity to fight mayweather.
