He'll make as much money as both, both have a belt and both on their own exclusive network.
Stevens seems to be the NBC MW juggernaut while ggg and chocolate are that of their own networks.
Stevens fighting Chocolate seems like the better option for him though.
Showtime has a hold of Barclay's center and Stevens is a Brooklyn fighter. They could probably hold their own main even there and Chocolate can finally move out from the undercards.
Also Chocolate doesn't have anybody lined up right now.
Stevens on the other hand has to hope Geale/Barker turns down a November fight with Golovkin. Even in December he has to hope Duva and his team let him fight Golovkin since they're so hesitant right now.
What an idiot, talking like knocking Ishida out is easy.
Why don't you tell that to Kirkland.... is he awake?
I'd love to see him fight Ishida and hear his excuses on why he couldn't knock him out
I don't think he will and wouldn't be surprised if he lost to Ishida. Who knows though after Ishida got Ko'd. Ishida always gave a tough fight, went 12 with Williams and Priog
1. Martin Murray
2. Felix Sturm
3. Jarrod Fletcher
4. Patrick Nielsen
5. Max Bursak
6. Gilberto Ramirez
7. Sergio Mora
8. Andy Lee
9. Juan Camilo Novoa
10. Juan Ubaldo Cabrera
11. Garth Wood
12. Jose Uzcategui
13. George Tahdooahnippah
14. Alex Theran
15. Marcos Nadar
That's the current list... so I assume he'll chase somebody there.
Would be cool to see him fight Lee, that'll really give him attention. Doubt he fights Mora, that's a fight he can't win.
If anything, he should fight George Tahdooahnippah to get on the list.
I have no idea why he's still on there..... he's so bad
Here's what I was talking about
I doubt Stevens could do that against Ishida

I really want to watch him fight Ishida now. He's talking about how ggg knowing out Ishida was nothing and he was a midget. Tell that to Kirkland, Paul Williams and pirog. His interview with thaboxingvoice really makes me want to watch the fight now.
He's doing a good job at selling himself, even said he'd was himself in golovkins blood
That's a good point. That would ****ing suck! If that happens, that just means the boxing gods are mad at us lol
should be fine as long as he stays with main events. I was watching an interview with Stevens and they brought up him fighting Ishida or n'dam in the meanwhile so he has something to compare himself with. I dont think he knocks out either and probably only beats Ishida by a tough decision.
The interviewer brought it up about hi. Fighting them
im just worried if that happens and he wins, he'll be locked in with ShowTime.
Both fights dont the distance though

he'd be better off going for choclate first and having some chance of a win and then being able to get a bit more money for getting beat up by GGG rather than taking his beating now for less
I think he should go after Chocolate first. If he beats him, then the public (or at least hardcore boxing fans) will feel that GGG is obligated to fight Stevens. It would also give the fight more hype.

If Stevens really wants the GGG fight.....he may have to go to Monaco because there's talk Gennady might fight there in November or December. Also, there was mention of a fight in South Africa but that seems to have died down.
monnaco is in December. Might be on HBO too, that's what they wan

I mean he can try and get those bigger fights, I just don't see how or why he is suddenly in the discussion regarding top MWs after a win over Roman who is essentially a ko prone journeyman.
Because he looked explosive in his fights and got some nice hype rolling around him now.
Got people talking.
I don't know how, but it happens like that. He might as well roll with it and get as much of it as he can.
Def golovkin
He's the better more touted fighter and I'm not even sure if a fight with quilon will be a main event, jnfact I doubt it
Stevens has a nice amount of hype following him now and Brooklyn is where most of his fans are from.
True though, doubt it would sell out Barclays... they'd have to build a card around it or even make it a co-main event
Just realized he's rated in neither the WBA or WBO.
That's the older rankings though... who knows where the Roman win will put him or the latest talk of him wanting a fight and putting attention on himself
Kid Chocolate seems more beatable, not impressed with the guy at all and if he can grab his strap maybe unify with GGG later.
He can still chase GGG, probably because he currently holds the distinction of the most feared MW.
He's got balls and credit to him.
