Amir khan on Twitter
Iv agreed to fight Devon Alexander weeks ago. He's creating hype. Its Devon who needs to sign. I'd fight him anywhere.
Why fight kel brook. He pulled out the fight twice against Alenxander and fought Carson jones. Lol.
Here we have Alexander who doesn't. Want to fight me. kel jus pulls out of big fights. He ain't even won a major title in 30+ fights
Ask any1 Amir khan doesnt pulled out or run from a fight. Iv fought the best and the biggest names and stil in the future want to fight them
Kell said no to Bradley aswell and his last fight was 152 and to be honest with you i wont be surprised if Senchenko beats him
I will never fight Kelly brook till she wins a world title. I'm sorry kel and if he wins a title. Against pple like Carson u not going to.
Please this isn't about Kelly brook, I mean kel. I'm way ahead in the game. 3 world titles n fighting for my 4th in Dec so alexander SIGN
So there u have it, I to Goldenboy have agreed to fight Devon Alexander. We just waiting. Fingers crossed I get the fight. Speak later. X
Thoughts?
I love how Khan gets flack for fighting two tune ups. Critics totally ignore the circumstances leading to those fights.
Khan vs Peterson was a travesty. Not only did Khan do enough to win that fight, even with the point deductions, he also out performed Peterson who was on performance enhancing drugs at the time. However it was a grueling match and probably took something out of Khan, which is a shame because the playing field was heavily skewed in Peterson's favor.
In his next fight against Garcia, Khan started brightly and was outclassing Garcia until his recklessness caught up with him and he was knocked down with a tremendous left hook. He bravely fought back and landed some great shots against Garcia, but he absorbed too much punishment and the referee rightly stopped the fight.
Peterson and Garcia were incredibly tough fights for Khan, and after back to back defeats - one by vicious KO, all fighters need to rebuild.
The Molina fight is what it is. A confidence builder which Khan was expected to look good in. He delivered.
Khan was also expected to look good against Diaz which he failed to do, but in credit to Diaz, he fought to a draw in his previous fight with the highly regarded Shawn Porter, and always had enough power to trouble the likes of Khan. It was a credible fight for a boxer coming off two very hard defeats.
Now we're in a situation where Khan has had his gimme fights and is ready to step back in with a credible world class opponent, however, these supposedly world class opponents don't want to fight. Khan is more than big enough a star and financial attraction to 'deserve' a fight with Alexander. This is someone who won his belt off an old, shot Randall Bailey. The title was essentially handed to him.
If Alexander's team views Khan as too much of a risk, then that's fine. Admit it, stop making excuses, and move on - fight another Lee Purdy if that's what makes you happy. Just make a decision!
ATG post right here, think you might get hate for this
Alexander's team say they have not received any offers from Khan to fight and Khan is the one holding up the fight. One side or the other is lying but I have no idea which side that is. Alexander is the champ and he calls the shots not Khan. Khan has done zero to earn a welterweight title shot and Brook is the #1 contender for Alexander's title. Khan is not ahead of Brook no matter how Khan spins it. The only reason Khan will probably get the fight is because he is Schaefer's pet.
GBP Khan plan:
Alexander Vs Khan @ 147 - Winner = potential Mayweather stakes?
If Alexander doesn't sign
Khan Vs 140 backup, probaly Holt, then that winner will faces Lucas (after he KO's Garcia) OR he will face Garcia while Matthysse fights Mayweather.
Khan has 2 years left, his end goal is Mayweather... They know their routes... Matthysse is who they have to avoid or spending too much time at 147 whereby punchers start to call Khan out.

Thanks for your post, I gave up reading some of these morons with their hate for Khan, if the guy avoids a lot of challenges now then I would understand but he alway seeks out tough fights even with his shortcomings but that isn't good enough for some.
Amir got him some stones! Never let his guts or heart be questioned! I worry for him though, he's so fragile
Brook can take a fuck, he has done dick and he seems to lack the commitment imo
So calling him out is fighting him now? You just blasted Bradley for doing what Khan is doing, calling a dude out and then going up in weight to chase a pay day.
Schaefer's original plan was to line up Khan for the winner of Garcia-Mattysse, so if Lucas wins the fight is there for him. Hell, I am sure Mattysse would meet him at WW too since Khan says he can't make 140 anymore.
Lets be honest, Khan isn't going near Lucas because he knows one shot from him ends any chance at a Floyd fight.
And you're original claim was that Khan was running away from a potential fight with Lucas, the difference between the proposed fight between Khan and Bradley was that Khan did everything in his power for the fight to manifest, 50/50 split and all, and on the other hand Bradley was no where to be seen...
So Khan is not going near Lucas because you said so or Khan, was the same not said about Khan prior to the fight with Maidana was it not?
Khan is running from a change to fight Mattysse though. Remember Khan was the prize for the winner of the 4 man JWW tournament gold is having.
There is no contract to sign, they are simply negotiating at this point.
Khan agreed to the fight two weeks ago. Schaefer went to Dubai 3-4 weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure there's a contract.

How can you be running from a guy who has a fight signed? :wtf:
That is just simply not true

say what you will about kahn and his china, but he's willing to fight anybody and gives a good show ... hell the guy would probably jump at the chance to get in there with Mathesse

Because Khans last two tune up opponents are still better than anything Brook has faced. I like Brook a lot, but if he wants to fight Khan he needs to beat some of the people Khan has been beating. The situation reminds me a bit of Junior Witter and Ricky Hatton.
Everyone knows Khan will fight whoever. He's proven that. It's without question the richest fight out there for Alexader. They think they can "check that chin" so why not sign the damn contract? If Alexander fights anybody else on Dec 7 he's a straight up duck.
There is no contract to sign, they are simply negotiating at this point.
he has the balls to put it on the line unlike Alexander/Brook etc. Alexander and Brook didn't even want to fight each other, let alone Khan.
Nothing but respect for Khan. He's a warrior.
I must have. Sorry about that.
I thought you were posting those videos as "proof" that Bradley didn't duck Khan.
My bad.
No worries dude mistakes happen
Dude you read my post with the wrong intentions, I'm laughing at how Bradley called out Khan for running away from the fight yet it was clearly the other way round lol.

Eh what does that prove? Do you actually need me to pull up the clip where Bradley is on the radio saying: "What if I lose?" Lol.
Bradley didn't want to fight Khan because he had one more fight left on his contract. If he lost he'd be out of a Pacquiao fight.
