He won't because he doesn't have the competition. Head to head, maybe he is, I don't know the division that well off the top of my head. Morales vs. Rigondeaux is a hell of a fight.
wilfredo gomez would take his head off, and at 126 the list of guys who would pound him is much longer.
i doubt very much that 95% of these posters have seen any 122 lbers pre marco antonio barrera.
rigondeaux has one big win. one. not two, not three... not five, not seven.
prior to the donaire fight his best win was ricardo flippin cordoba.
TS has red k, nuff said just because a poster has red k does not make a post bad. Most of my Red K came from Khan fans who did not like my comments about his chin. I just told it how it is and they gave me Red K.
Not if he doesn't land any fights and the only notable name on his resume is Donaire...he won't.
I know man, this thread is ridiculous, the man's not even had 20 pro fights, has one notable name on his resume and ... he's the best? HAHAHAHA

He's got to have a good few more career defining wins before you bring him up in the same breath as Morales or Barrera or in general any of the past greats.
Rigondeaux is a brilliant boxer but he's not had enough big fights yet.
Not yet. He still needs to make his own legacy. He's only faced one top opponent and there aren't that many else in his weight division.
