I like the idea of making boxers judges. well it makes practical sense, doesn't it? hehehehe

Well at least 5 judges is better than 3 I think....so perhaps get judges (or even get judges or boxers to be judges likewise). If the commission can pay 7 judges even better. So 7 would be ideal. WIth "bad decisions", at the very least there's more consensus among judges instead of just 1 judge to override 2 others. In this case, if there's a 3 vs 3 and 1 judge to be the ice breaker, then perhaps it is "clearer". Perhaps even revise what is SPLIT DECISION. Maybe eliminate it and put back the 15 rounds of boxing until someone goes down instead. Therefore eliminating or minimizing "guess work". That's my humble opinion. Rules like that over complicate things and would distract boxers that don't hold a lot into worrying also how would you punish it as removing a point is harsh

Draw-breakers and instant replay are a must. Instant replay does sound good.

Take away a ref's discretion to stop a fight without completing a count of 8 or 10. Ref's always have to count to 8 or 10 no matter what...even if a fighter is out cold. After the 8 count, the ref can then decide to stop a fight or let them continue.

i would remove draws...after 12 rounds, they reveal the scores and if it's even, they go 3 more rounds also if after 6 rounds, there have been less than 200 total punches thrown by both fighters, the fight is stopped and ruled a no contest and neither fighter gets paid lmao!:boxing:

Because I think many fighters get away with excessive holding I would make it a rule that you can't hold more then 3 times a round between rounds 1-10 and in the final two rounds you can hold 5 times per round. Tyson fights his opponents were just holding so they wouldnt get KTFO. Wlad does the same thing as them just holding whenever they get close just to stall and wear them out with his weight.. They should break them up right away if fighters are just holding to stall. The only exemption are fighters like Hatton and Holyfield who did great clinch work. Not so much a rule, but I would encourage judges to score 10-10 rounds. I think that would stop a lot of, what people view as, robberies when there are many close rounds, but one fighter is clearly dominant in all of the others. If a fighter is hurt and recooperates before the ref steps in, that man deserves to fight on.I don't think you understand what I am saying. I have seen many times when a fighter was badly hurt and the ref should have stopped the fight. Instead the ref will star in his eyes, ask him questions , say to the fighter "walk to me" and in the 30 seconds or so it takes the ref to finish all the tests the fighter who was badly hurt has fully recovered. That is not fair to the other fighter who would have scored a ko if not for the referee. It makes the Dempsey-Tunny long count look like a short count.A good ref does not need all these tests. He either stops the fight or lets the fight go on.

Some referees, especially in Europe and some U.S. refs like Eddie Cotton, do not allow fighters to fight in the clinch. They automatically break the fighters apart and disrupt the action. I think there should be some uniform rule where fighters allowed to fight in the clinch. Here's an example: if you look at much of Tyson's early fights there was frequent clinches where both fighters were grappling, trying to get into position to punch. When you look at hw fights of recent e.g. Povetkin-Huck, Wlad-Thompson, etc. the clinches are broken up immediately. It actually seems to have changed the game somewhat. That all boxing judges who get the jobs to all major fights have their bank accounts monitored for "unexpected" sums of money just showing up. That all boxing judges have the requirement of being fighters in the past, at least at an amateur level so they know how to appreciate what they're actually seeing. That we form a federal comission that oversees everything about boxing and that Teddy Atlas runs it and that we should incorporate random drug testing for all fighters. That we do away with all these bull***** belts and all these frauds running them and go back to the original 8 weight classes and recognize just one champion per division. That promoters be under the control of the federal commission and that all fighters that should fight each other actually fight each other.

scores should be knwn after each round I don't think this would be a good idea because then the people that are winning will not want to engage in the final rounds.
