Floyd Opponents all have been Berto Victors which means these guys weren't really that good if Soto Karus just knock out Berto

Oscar makes more than Floyd himself on his fights. Of course he is going to hype up the opponent. Floyd has made it clear he doesn't consider himself a Golden Boy fighter (which is complete bs) so why should Oscar go all out for him? Although he probably does want Canelo to win this one to set him up as his cash cow for the next decade. If people don't view Canelo as a threat they won't buy the fight a la Robert Guerrero...

He also said he would beat mayweather. so there's that.

He's said the same about every fighter from Hatton onwards. Cracks me up when he gives them advice on how to beat Mayweather.

DLH's job is to sell the fight. No matter who Floyd fights he will say the opponent has a good shot to win or will win. He'll always bring up the jab is the key and how he almost won using the jab. I don't even think DLH hates Floyd. It's a win-win situation for Golden Boy. Floyd wins and they make money and line up the next GB fighter to face him. Floyd loses and they make money and GB has a new star.

He's just doing his job promoting. When it comes to anything Oscar, Floyd, or Broner people ignore the business end of boxing.
