It's sad. It's one of the reasons why I fell out of love with baseball. Some people don't care and feel that it's part of the culture of athletics. That might be true, but that doesn't mean we have to approve of it.
baseball players are just hitting a ball. i really don't mind them gearing up and tearing the cover off of a baseball.
connection?
that's an odd term. that probably goes on a case by case basis.
i think american steroid suppliers and distributers have higher quality, more advanced drugs and chemists / gurus administering them. everybody else is catching up, though.
this is based on word of mouth, but it appears as though steroids in boxing are most prevalent on the west coast of the united states.
americans start roiding in school, documentary on it
Is that the one that talked about Americans using drugs to get advantage on everything even school and I think they even said the air force gives pilots some kind of drug to give them faster reflex or something.
Even though I think Mexicans have the best steroid connection I can't think of any of them that I can say I believe is using it. Even though I am a little suspect of Marquez new found muscles and power. I hope I'm wrong he is probably my favorite fighter. I would be very disappointed in him.
WAR Marquez!:boxing:
Steroids are now common all over the world, and can even be found in 3rd world countries rather easily if you know where to look. Most places around the world have no testing and those guys can be juicing non stop and nobody would ever know.

no i think they should just use usada and not release the results when someone tests positive(hi floyd!)
You mean the rumor that had no actual evidence behind it?
Here's what Thomas Hauser wrote:
"On May 20, 2012, a rumor filtered through the drug-testing community that Mayweather had tested positive on three occasions for an illegal performance-enhancing drug. More specifically, it was rumored that Mayweather’s “A” sample had tested positive on three occasions and, after each positive test, USADA had found exceptional circumstances in the form of inadvertent use and gave Floyd a waiver."
Here's the issue: Rumors have to come from somewhere. If this person who started the rumor knew this to be the case, then how come that person couldn't provide proof?
I at least would've liked to have some indication of the veracity of this anonymous source. This is why newspapers are supposed to do more than "sources say," but instead will say things like "a high-ranking Defense Department source who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak with the public." That allows the reader to have at least some information so they can judge whether the source is truthful or could have an agenda, etc.
Very true, but our awareness of the use of banned substances depends on the quality and quantity of testing done by the various commissions. I think it's fair to say that we can't know how widespread the use is until commissions around the world test more people more often and for all of the banned substances under the WADA code.

I don't think you need to break it down by nationality. Those who want performance enhancing drugs are able to find them, no matter where they are.

Its probably between Americans and Mexicans.
But most of the Americans get their steroids from Mexico aka black market.
Memo has his video up showing how easy it is to get Steroids and EPO from some Mexican pharmacies.
