Lol this fight is no different to Floyd vs gurre and that wad on ppv. Once again Floyd Stans being hypocritical
Am i the only one that read CARD. The fight shouldnt be on PPV either but the card is crap crap crap.
Floyd/Ghost card wasnt crap
everybody is willing to pay (except for flowmoes) $150 to see this exciting fight. we'll see real fighting to the max without the boring back-pedaling, sucker punching, elbowing, pot-shoting gay-like fights.
:fing02:
It isnt eating up HBOs budget, so yes I'm fine with it. Pac and Rios are both coming off losses. I love them both as fighters but **** paying for this one.
Let the casuals blow their money on it, I'll see you guys in the goo-roo chat.
As a boxing fan I wouldn't want any PPVs at all, who the hell wants to pay $75 for a fight that could literally last 20 seconds?
But against PPVs aren't determined by boxing fans. They are determined by money. PPVs are bad for the sport, they limit how many people actually watch the fights but make exponentially more money them any other method
As a boxing fan I would Pay for meaning fights and not just for star appeal. If it wasn't for fans not supporting Floyd's last fight as Showtime would have liked, we wouldn't be getting Floyd/Canelo and Mathysse/Garcia on the same night. But if you throw money at Manny against Rios you telling Bob I don't care who Manny fights which is why your getting Manny and Rios and Vanes :lol1:
that's not true. with floyd you are almost guaranteed 12 rounds. 12 boring rounds but hey quantity over quality right?Hows this card in the quality dept?

Both those Floyd fight weren't PPv worthy and I have posts saying that. If you want to look at it as an accountant then perhaps yes cause you can still sell Manny doing anything while Manny is still have sheep following still. As a boxing fan I only pay for fights that mean something.

Since when has "quality of the fight" ever determined if its a PPV or not? PPVs are determined by 1 thing, money. That's why fights like Floyd-Ortiz and Floyd-Guerrero were PPV

It is PPV worthy if it sells good numbers, simple. If the viewers walk away satisfied, that's a bonus. What will be a good number for this card though, like 650k maybe?
