No. The guy in my avatar and signature shrine is.
While I disagree that Hopkins is a greater fighter than Armstrong I have to give you a greenie on your Heaven/Hell sig. Brilliant.
Man, you are starved of attention.
"If I support a boxer that uses loaded gloves, a man vilified for shooting an unarmed teenager & dis great boxers I'll get more responses"
I would hug you so hard if we were in the same bar. And I am mean in friendly big brotherly way not a.. well you know.
Anyway, I know you know boxing & just say things for shock value but Henry Armstrong & Ricky Hatton?!?!? That's a f*cking stretch in anyones book.
I think Hopkins & Marquez have had brilliant careers & followed them both since early days but neither one comes close to Armstrong. He was the first man to walk on the moon, for f*cks sake.
Hugging will probably work too,
Maniac all teary :lol1:
Its either, Bernard Hopkins , JMM, or Henry Armstrong.
No disrespect intended but I think you have no idea what Henry Armstrong actually did. Have a deeper look at his record & his achievements & his past.
Henry Armstrong is the Ricky Hatton of the 30's.
Fuck outta here with the black and white "ATG's" and romanticizing a bunch of malnourished bums fighting for bread in the depression era. Any bum with half a heart beat was considered a HOF'er in those days.
There's about 10 "Hall of famers" in this picture

An interesting note is that Juan's brother Rafael also lost his pro debut. Pretty awesome that they both went on to such great success afterwards.
If memory serves me correct, Benny Leonard also lost his pro debut.
Once Henry Armstong's name got mentioned the conversation is pretty much over. He's top five all time. The other two are maybe top twenty last twenty years.
I like B'hop but personally think Marquez's accomplishments outstretch Hopkins. Not to lessen what Bernard has done because he has cemented his legacy. Just think Marquez has given more to the fans. It is a close decision though like others have said.
Well said man +1
and he actually comes to fight. He's not content with charging people PPV money to fake injuries in the second round of a stinker
One of those fights I have been meaning to watch but haven't gotten to it yet, can't wait to score it then.
You're better off not watching it.
I'm a huge Marquez fan, but don't let the Marquez fans fool you : He looked like sh*t in the Norwood fight. So did Norwood. I would have disqualified both guys for acting like cunts who were more interesting in avoiding a fight than engaging in one.
He has given more to the fans because he gets punched alot,, diaz and katsidis and casamoyer and barrera all landed hard shots on him,,, none would win a round vs hopkins....
hopkins wouldnt need 4 fights to ice manny...
not trying to knock jmm but hopkins is way better defender, footwork,
JMM is a great of his era,,, Hopkins an ATG flat out
