Rios looks good. What slurring? He's spitting out the English. Doubt Rios will tamper with drugs and risk a mega payday. Looking forward to a slugfest. What will be even more impressive than knocking out Rios is to get him to back up. Guy NEVER backs up!
i can see this similar scenario happening if pac beasts up again.

Maybe Pacquiao genuinely does not like Rios. I hope he takes everything he has left to Rios
You don't know how much I hope this is true. I hope Pac f*cking hates Rios, because I want at least one more fight where a crazy Pac destroys someone.
wasnt. At least ortiz was a ranked weltr
Was Pacman a ranked welter when he fought Oscar?
Was Rios a ranked 140 pounder when he fought Alvarado?
Was Mayweather a ranked 154 pounder when he fought Oscar?
What does being ranked have to do with moving up in weight?
I know that Pacquiao is Victor Ortiz boy, Manny likes Ortiz and has said it before when they asked him which young boxer today can be a star and Pacman said Ortiz, he never mentioned Khan or Rios, I think he even said Rios who during an interview?
Maybe you are right Pacman doesn't like Rios because Ortiz probably told him some crazy stories, and with the Freddie Roach thing.
But we know Manny already and he doesn't take personal beefs that others have with certain fighters with him to the ring with him, so Im thinking this is Pacman just not really feeling hungry anymore and just honoring his contract and than call it quits.
No, I think Pacquiao is not currently in good physical shape. I remember him feeling super confident in the Pac/JMM 4 presscons because he was training with his Filipino trainer prior. As opposed to Rios who is always seen training in the gym. With that and the fact that Pacquiao having been the victim of a devastating KO, the confidence will probably show up in the remaining days of the training.
Rios will not look like a skeleton at weigh-in ..... it will be interesting to see how a "healthier" and more than likely stronger looking Rios will do.

Should be a goodfight, Manny will always be the smaller fighters as long as he fights above 135.
Also another thing to think about is that Rios might be more shot then Manny. Last time I heard him speak it was truly horrific. Should be a good as long as it lasts.
Can Pac move for 12 rounds these days? Especially against a guy that much bigger, that'll be coming forward as long as he's upright
Thats what we'll find out on fight night :boxing:
He was obviously handpicked to give Pacquiao an easy comeback fight. Rios will be a heavybag like Clottey.
i laugh at you again. Clottey shells up against everyone. Rios is like the opposite.
People think Rios will be able to catch Pacquiao?
Pacquiao is a better fighter than people give him credit for. If you can't keep up with his foot speed knowing where to be, you're done. I see Pacquiao going in and out with ease, having Rios following him and walking into hard shots.
I also give Rios a shot, tough, strong, and would go through hell just plant one on Pacquiao, but the way he goes about it gives Pacquiao too many opportunities.

Rios is a fat bum made to order. He isnt even a top 5 140 lb'er
You know Ortiz never made the JWW top 5 either, not even top 10 IIRC. I know he was coming off a nice win before Floyd, but get this, it's his only win vs a top tenner in his career, at any weight! Rios has several for example. And to top it off, Ortiz' only notable win came at a catchweight he requested!
