Brook taunted Matthew Hatton or something during their fight and Ricky didn't like it because they'd always been respectful towards Brook.
I still can't believe Kell said "I've been watching tape of Ricky, not Matthew. Because he's the better brother"
That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. Something you'd expect to read on here.

Ah okay. But it seemed like they were cool after that fight though.
Did they have anything against each other? I've only heard them speak respectfully towards each other. Could be wrong though.

As much as i like brook i dont think this matchup will do anything for him in terms of getting ready for world class level.Senchenko is ranked 12th by the IBF carson jones was 9th,theres other fights out there that would help him gain that bit more experience randall bailey shawn porter paulie mallignaggi jessie vargas leonard bundu. With kell being ranked #1 i can understand him fighting senchenko it gives him another win and keeps him mandatory to devon in the IBF but im not sure theres alot for him to learn in this fight.I think the only reason matchroom is making this fight is because Ricky Hatton lost to senchenko otherwise no 1 in britain would have a clue who he is.
The funny thing is that Kell Brook and Hatton don't even like each other

Hearn knows what he's doing. Everyone will tune in/come see the guy who beat Hatton get beaten to a pulp.

Yeah I think so as well.
Let's put it this way, if Senchenko hadn't beaten Hatton, there was no way he was getting this fight.
It's an OK fight, quite disappointing. Josesito Lopez wouldn't have been much better. Eddie Hearn is just biding time now before pushing for the Khan fight.
Not hurt as in close to being KOd or anything like that, but he took a few steps back and covered on around the mid rounds as far as memory goes. I haven't rewatched it either.
I don't think it's the worst matchup. He's a good fighter, but Brook needs to KO him if he wants to make a statement of any kind.
Sure, but I think it would be more beneficial to Brook get 12 rounds in and actually look fit in the last 3-4 because the next opponent (after VS) likely will take him into deep water.
I don't recall seeing him hurt to be honest, although I haven't re-watched the fight.
Imo Brook gassed again in his last fight. He won the first 3 rounds heavily and then out of nowhere Jones was right back in the fight catching him with flush shots he shouldn't be caught with.
A lot of people will criticise the Senchenko match-up but personally I think it's the right fight at the right time for Brook. I think he'll be made to work for a points decision over 12.

I'm glad people aren't getting fooled by the Hatton win lol. Senchenko is a piss poor former belt holder. Paulie put a beatdown on him, and he ain't done that to nobody! Brook stops him easy.
The mugs at sky will be happy about this bs fight and pretend like it's a challenge for Brook. This guy needs to stop wasting time, it's becoming pathetic.
We'll see.
Ricky Hatton seemed to hurt him a few times and shake him up in their fight, I can only imagine what a fit brook would do to him.
A lot of people have been saying this is Brook's last chance to show up fit. As in no foot injury, bad weight, no motivation etc.. I agree.

I think it goes 12...
Granted Malignaggi is not a big puncher but he is elusive and fit, Brook is neither. I don't think this is a bad fight for Kell at all.

I don't. Senchenko is just not that good, and hasn't tasted the kind of power brook has. I mean, if Malignaggi stops you in 7...
Brook KO mid rounds. I'll be shocked and disappointed if this goes the full length.
