Latest rumor is that Top Rank is looking to have Vasyl Lomachenko make his pro debut against Jose Ramirez on the Bradley vs Marquez undercard in a 10 round fight. Ramirez has a record of 25-3, is ranked #7 by the WBO at Featherweight and holds the WBO International Featherweight title.
If it's a 10 round fight then it won't be for his title but would look to be a set up for the Salido vs Cruz winner.
Here's a Highlight of Ramirez's last fight against Bautista

Damn, even Rigo, who had a far more accomplished amateur career, didn't get thrown in thid deep so soon.
Potential 2nd fight for a title, mad props.
No. Pretty much the same but if you are going to compare Vasyl won a Val Barker, took less losses and probably fought stronger compitition in his divisions. (Toledo, Selimov, Valdez, Verdejo, Vodopyanov, Stankovic, Ramirez, Gaibnazarov, etc)
if anybody remembers the begginning of his career, rigondeaux had a ton of changes to make before he was a viable pro. it's a testament to his abilities and work ethic that he was able to develop an effective pro style in so few fights, because early on he was very inconsistent.
i do think lomachenko is a bit more suited for pro boxing. he's also got a style that's easier to market than rigo, and a potential russian fanbase stateside.
Bob's really got a stranglehold on these gold medalist. That's the third 202 Gold Medalist he signed. He also has pretty big markets to follow under: China, Japan and Europe

If that's true... that's a hell of a debut.... harder than the Thai's and Indonesian fighters.
If this is true, this is just to set up a title fight in his second fight.
badass... gotta be careful, doe.
can't wait to see this kid fighting pro.
ronnie N with the call on that highlight? i hear furious tagalog mixed with the commentary, rofl.
Lulz Didn't realize. Is that him?
Can a Pinoy explain to me why the loan words used are English instead of Spanish? Considering the history one woud think the opposite would be true.
