What happened to Kell Brooks "big" announcment for Sept?

It's a big name in terms of the amount of letters in his name...that must count for something right?

Senchenko has been confirmed as the opponent. Unimpressed but not unexpected.

Could be a number of reasons why he wasn't training i.e he wasn't planning to go through with the fight anyway. Also plenty of reasons why someone from his gym would say that or wouldn't know the full story. Could be. But I highly doubt it.

I interviewed Leigh Wood before his fight with Sid Razak (beginning of April), and he said Kell hadn't been training for about a week, as I asked him how it was training alongside Kell Brook. Whether or not Khan keeps his belt after winning it, is an entirely different matter altogether. If Mayweather comes calling, i'm sure he would dump that belt like yesterday's garbage. I would be happy to entertain the idea that he wasn't injured if I didn't know for a fact that he hadn't been training for ten days in the midst of his training camp. The mugs at Sky will be happy to buy a Senchenko fight and get revenge for Hatton lol. It's a joke of a fight, Senchenko is weak as hell. It's funny that Frank Warren was going to get him a title shot 3 years ago and wanted to match him against the likes of Mike Jones. It's like he's had no progress whatsoever. Hard to blame just Hearn for this as Brook has been known to turn down these fights when he was with Warren. Agree with that. I think the reason for Brook's career stalling is as much down to his own mentality.
