I honestly think acoustically although froch doesn't have the large followings of hatton and calzaghe and even Haye, his grass roots fans in Nottingham are the best acoustically.
what you guys think?
but currently there is not atmosphere acoustically better and nastier than Nottingham areana carl froch fights.
Its a shame Froch doesn't fight there anymore :(
Nothing and I mean nothing in this thread beats Hatton/Mayweather. When Mayweather was caught at 21:15 of this video

Watch the camera shake because of the crowd being so loud.
Us british are very passionate about our fighters even if they are limited we will support them till the end. I think haye vs fury is gunna have one of the best crowds of this year. But out of any sport its definately the turkish football crowds i dare you to youtube it.
No atmosphere tops Liverpool-Chelsea '05 CHL semi final.
When I mentioned going to over hundreds of games it's cause I'm a Wolves season ticket holder lol.
Won't have much chance of witnessing any semi-final atmosphere for some time. Unless you count the Johnstons Paint.
UK fans are the greatest easily... even when we are outnumbered abroad we're still louder :)
you guys are so rude. every time i try to enjoy a night out at the fights while sipping my zima and politely clapping when a knockout happens you guys ruin it by banging on a drum and shouting "THERE'S ONLYYYYYYYYYY ONEEEEEEEEEEE whichever bum you are supporting"
The Haye-Wlad fight atmosphere was electric. It had the British fans, but also had the German/Ukrainian and other Klit-supporting fans that cheered when Wlad wasn't doing much. If that fight was toe-to-toe action, it would have exploded. Haye certainly had the majority of the fans on his side during that fight, even though it was in Germany.
I don't think the Haye-Wlad atmosphere was that good. I was standing in the rain with the brits, and before the fight it was insane, but once the scam got going the atmosphere dwindled. I don't know if people were too excited to sing or too bored. But during the fight, it wasn't great.
The weigh in though. That was special. Wlad wasn't happy. haha.

I'd have to agree.
The atmosphere for Froch-Bute was unreal. I've been to hundreds of football games and I've gotta admit Froch-Bute ****ted on them for atmosphere.

i think german crowds are the best. someone gets ktfo(polite clapping)
Haha. "There was a KO! - Everybody: pinky up, it's tea-time".
The Froch-Kessler 2 fight was probabably the most electic and loud atmosphere I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few big fights.
Both of Froch's fights vs Bute and Kessler were excellent atmosphere's. No doubt the Kessler atmosphere was probably louder, but during the Bute fight there was a sense that the croud needed to roar Carl on in order for him to win. It was insane.
I went to Froch-Kessler 1 and can honestly say that was a crazy atmosphere as well.
With regards to atmosphere's though, Froch hasn't a patch on Ricky Hatton. Now, those were atmospheres.
Welsh people can't sing. There's a thing. UK crowds the best in the world for my money; US boxing can be great but on average is plagued with boo-boys who think all boxers are Gatti, German boxing's devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever, and I can't tell whether Japanese boxing's got good atmosphere or not because the commentators are invariably half-crazed and louder than an angry blue whale.
