Started with promise, flash, style and ****iness. But the Leija fight showed a lack of heart and will when things weren't going his way.
He then began his string of wins and losses. Lack of training because he depended on his natural talent and mimicking of his father. He's only remained relevant because of his name and a little because of early promise he showed. But that promise was 12 years ago when he was 22. Now's he's 34 and still hasn't accomplished what many thought, a world title.
At this point, he's looking to be more inspired especially in light of the tragedy of his father. But he's not 22 anymore. He's 34, out of shape and shopworn.
He was never tested until Leija, then it went completely downhill after that.
This was his latest fight

lol the commentator said "by a massive left hook to the body" when it was a right hook.

What "junior's" have actually lived up to their fighter of fathers name?
It seems like George Foreman III is slowing his roll too.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. actually surpassed his father's name.
Looked good at the start of his career but he was a low output fighter. Once he got lazy and was doing poor imitations of his father ring walks he became a non-factor
remember seeing him get ktfo against david lemieux
LOL knocked out so bad, he didn't believe he was knocked out and would not even believe his own corner people!LOL When they started removing his gloves he had it in his mind that the fight didn't even start yet and started resisting. It took them a while and they had to show him replay's to convince him.
anybody seen him fight
can he become a champ
Junior showed some early promise, then he ran into Jesse James Leija years ago and his upward trajectory came to a screeching halt. He's 34 now. Sad to say, but he has no future as a fighter.
