Im putting money on haye to blast fury out in the first round and I think he only needs one punch to do it. Can fury do anything with his size to survive 12 rounds, is it better for him to smother haye and fight or keep at a distance?
Can't see that happening.
I would be interested to see how Fury fights. He actually seems less vulnerable to me when he gives up his height and reach and just smothers people a la the Chisora and Cunningham fights.
He did well on the end of his jab against Johnson though. But Johnson was very inactive in that fight.
It would be interesting to see Fury put his hands up nice and high and walk the smaller man down. If he doesn't get knocked out, Haye is going to be dog tired and possibly there for the taking down the stretch.
I actually think Fury might win this. That or he gets wrecked early.
he needs to fight an outside fight for the most part, but i think it would be good for him to take a leaf out of the klitschkos' book and tie up whenever haye comes within punching range. rough him up to prevent him from getting into a rhythm and throwing combos, then hope he is knackered enough that fury can get more aggressive in the second half of the fight. i can't really see fury winning though.
I doubt it, fury's big, tuff and won't be stupid like against cunningham. Also haye didn't even blast harrison out in the first and audley harrison is very first round blastable.
