I've always said it before that Floyd never has a game plan or a premeditated strategy if u will. He reacts on instinct using his ability to adapt and read his opponents mistakes in the ring on top of his boxing skill level.
Roger and, now, his dad watch tape. I think Floyd just watches fights, not really studying, and comes up with ideas on what he can take advantage on based upon his own strengths.
Like not watching actual film on Victor Ortiz but just noticing during his fight with Berto that he kept getting hit with right hands that lacked any sort of actual setup.
Comes out against Ortiz and starts throwing right hands immediately.

and it probably wasn't even him doing the thinking, more likely Haymon.
im surprised he took on the challenge of ndou. ndou lives in south africa which is really far away. floyd wouldn't fight cotto because he lived in puerto rico which is much closer. if only floyd had a geography class we would have seen the good fights. what a shame.
floyd doesnt think on the fly, it was a well thought out decision to fight a bum like ndou

The next logical step for Floyd would be establishing a Floyd Mayweather University of The Sweet Science.
Would like to see a breakdown on Ray Robinson's and JC Chavez's work.
I think a Mayorga fight skills breakdown might get you banned from here.

:lol1: Why am I not surprised?
Anyway I'll say it here, that "head control" thing you're so crazy about is useful in certain situations and detrimental in others (like most boxing techniques). For example at 21:07 and 22:18 Floyd gets hit while he's using his hands to control N'Dou's head. So it's useful to do it either when you're moving or when you have enough distance between you and your opponent.
See this is the kind of comment that could help you refine your knowledge but you're allergic to any kind of criticism.
Sorry to disappoint this regards the actual sport of Boxing
I love your videos, very informative. Especially enjoyed the video on the rope-a-dope, but I'd like to make a suggestion on how you might be able to improve your videos a bit. I think if you were to cut all of the clips you're going to cover in a video into a timeline and then overdub that with spoken word the videos would be a bit more cohesive and easier to follow. Don't get me wrong, like I said, I love your stuff, it's just that the rewinding and searching are kind of distracting.
