IMO haye Valuev was one of the worst matches of all time. but that aside it was a no contest, valuev was to slow but controlled the ring, Haye was too elusive with terrible punch output.
If Fury has his uncle in his corner and gets Fury to fight like he did against kevin johnson i think Fury could win on decision, or late stoppage.
I had Valuev-Haye wide in Haye's favour.
Valuev is also a harder fight than Fury. Slower? Sure. Less skill? Yep (not by much though tbh). However, the sheer size, weight and durability of Valuev far outweighs anything Fury brinngs to the table.
Haye in 3.
Initially I thought this fight, between Fury and Haye, is a lop sided in Haye's favor, and then I thought about it some more and I think it's going to be a close fight
I had Haye winning the Valuev fight, but what made the fight close was that he didn't throw any punches, probably because he was scared of Valuev...
Haye averaged a pathetic ~12 punches thrown per round. He ended up with a high accuracy, but all he did was throw one punch and then run. I don't blame him for the strategy because Valuev does get inside and like to grab his opponents and weaken them with his size.
Fury moves well for his size, that's one of the things he's not given credit for. After the second round against Cunningham he was really closing the distance on him and Cunningham was on his bicycle and eventually got KTFO. He's not a plodder like Valuev, I think he's going to be able to track Haye down, grab on to him, throw some punches on the inside, wear him down and potentially knock him out late.
I see the fight going 2 ways. Haye needs a quick knockout between rounds 1-4, but if he doesn't achieve the knockout and Fury survives the onslaught, Fury will cut him off, he will wear him down and then finish him late in the fight similar to how he finished Cunningham.
the funniest ***** ive read in ages.... made my day!!
Fury and Chisora are two different animals though. Haye had averaged 50 power punches per round against Chisora the first 3 rounds. Obviously that won't be the case against Fury, where the size difference will be a massive factor - hence it will be way more tactical. As soon as Haye drops Fury though, he will attack him like a crazy person like he did against Chisora/Audley/Enzo. I still can't see Fury lasting 5 rounds, but even if, I still fancy Haye to take him on points. I mean, Wlad could hardly land on Haye and he's 10 times better in every department.
I agree for the most part. I fancy Haye inside four rounds; but if Fury can maintain a tight guard, get in close and put some of his weight on Haye, he'll tire him out. Haye DOES have stamina issues.
Either we'll get an all-guns blazing Haye, or a tentative pot-shot version a la Valuev.

Haye vs Vauev was close?
If Fury does something something something??
Come on bro stop this hate mongering.... your boy Froch and Haye are good friends
This ^^^^.
If Fury can weather the storm, I fancy him to stop Haye late. Haye's stamina is STILL a problem. He was blowing hard against Chisora after only 3 rounds.

Does anyone honestly believe Fury can take Hayes power?
I'm shocked! This is the same guy who got floored by pillow puncher Neven Pajkic!
Can you imagine how much Haye will brutalize him!
Say what you want about Haye but hes a league above Fury look how he took out a Chisora who Fury went life and death with!
That small stiff idiot is GETTIN IT!! :lol1:
I hope Tyson Fury does it, I like him for not being fake what you see is what you get.
David Haye played all the Haye fans before with the Klitschko fight then tried and sold his toe as an excuse haha!!
Whilst I think Haye is capable and all his character in and outside that ring is by far more fake than Fury's, he's trying to act the holy knight now?
What happened to the angry Haye who wanted to go toe-to-toe with Klitschko...
Obviously with his tiny little toe being broke he wouldn't of been able to do that but yet however that little toe helped him move around that ring ALOT...
Just to see all the Haye bandwagon fans eat humble pie to see Fury of all people knocking Haye clean out would be so funny to see.

Valuev was a 7ft 300+ pound giant who fights like a 6fter, likes to put pressure on opponents with walking forward with a jab and tiring his opponents out and also has an iron chin.
Fury is a 6ft 9 250 pound fighter with natural talent but a low attention span, who likes to go life and death with light punching cruiserweights lol.
Haye Valuev was not close, Valuev landed about 2 jabs the whole night, you don't give a boxer rounds for just plodding forwards.
Anyway, Valuev has an iron chin which kept him in there for the full 12, Fury doesn't and will probably get clocked early on, his only chance is to keep his guard high and try walk haye down, simmilar to how he big-manned cunningham after round 3

If Fury can take Haye beyond round 5, he stands an excellent chance. Haye's stamina is terrible.
It was a terrible fight but Haye won convincingly, your one of the only people I've heard think that!
most people in the pub where i watched it thought haye had lost at the final bell. i personally scored it for him, but not by much. it was an awful fight.

Trolling again!?

Haye broke his right hand in the second round! Which left him with basically a jab for most of the fight, against a guy that's 11 inches taller than him! Nearly impossible to hit with, considering the size disparity!
If and when Haye hits Fury with the punch that wobbles 2inch thick cranium Valuev, he's going to decapitate Fury!!
And why does having Furys uncle in his corner going to have an affect?
Here's the punch stats for Haye - Valuev if anyone is interested....
David Haye: 98/143 68.5%
Nikolai Valuev: 64/390 16%
Does anyone have the punch stats for Valuev- Holyroid?
It doesn't prove anything. Haye's output won't need to be all that high because when he lands, it will be powerful and it won't be long before its over.
GUESS we will find out soon enough when Haye mans up.
that proves my exact point. Haye isnt winning any decision, haye is like ace king suited v pocket queens. IF tyson Fury gets his head in shape the pocket queens holds out and wins on decisoion as Haye has very poor output.
But if Fury gets goaded in with the mind games and Fury performs how he did against cunningham then his pocket queens will get cracked.
imo its Furys to lose as he has all the advantages...

Kevin Johnson? You somehow managed to reference a heavyweight who throws less punches than Haye. Quite a feat!
