i learned my lesson on spending my hard earned money watching floyd's boring fights. i'd rather do what most boxing fans did the last time floyd fought on ppv... stream it.
Streamers aren't real boxing fans.

No fan demanded this fight to be fought at a PU55Y ASS catchweight, that's why Canelo fans and some Mayweather fans are calling this a bullshyt fight. And if Showtime thinks they're gonna break all kinds of records with a Floyd vs Walking Skeleton fight then they're sadly mistaking.
well manny's highest official selling ppv is cotto @145 and odh @147-both at 1.25mil.
floyd figured since he fought ODH at 154 and did 2.44 mil ppv's that doing 152 with Canelo would get the same 2.44 mil ppv sales.
As long as the card is loaded I have no problem with the Price! Put Lucas Matthysse vs Danny Garcia on the Card!
there's no way they'll have a 2-3 million dollar fight on the undercard...
they will put that money in their pockets. 2-3 million, dog. what would you do? you'd keep the money
goddamn....
if they sell a million ppvs (and they'll do way more, i'm just making the math easy) they get another five million smackers.
goddamn these fight are lucrative.
godd flipping damn.
i wonder the split and upsides will look like
The Mayweather fanbase doesn't mind the increase in price. Makes them happy when Floyd gets extremely rich.
More like the boxing fanbase that can afford it. Don't categorize mayweather fans, there are many who will stream it, and many who complain about it as well. And what kind of man cares emotionally when another man not directly related to them makes money? Troll.

Speak for yourself, i'd watch this fight or any fight with either Canelo or Floyd at any weight. Boxing is boxing and while I like making weight drained excuses like the next guy on NSB, a fight is still a fight and I can jump in the ring at my gym 10 pounds over or under and still bang.
Yeah, Mayweather wouldn't rip off the fans, would he? He's not nauseatingly obsessed with money, is he?
Get real. This is the cash out tour and he's gonna try to get every penny he can. This isn't the last hike.

You're confusing a media personality (Floyd "Money" Mayweather) with business interests like cable companies and such. The business interests aren't out to get mayweather rich although he will become rich as a result, they're out for themselves hence the fact that we live in a capitalistic society no?
fans aren't getting ripped off if they're seeing a fight they've demanded. The price may not be ideal but the fight is happening.....
if you can prove fraud then yes it will be taken off your bill; but because you wasn't satified with the event you will not receive a refund.
Not true my folks got refunded for the Tyson vs mcneally fight they didn't calm fraud just *****ed till they refunded it. Granted that was the 90's but hey anything can happen.
Not expensive for a once/year event , but the fact that it is Mayweather's fight makes it very expensive !!
Every time I watch Mayweather-DLH fight , I thinks it was the biggest cheat of all times .
This was great. :lol1:
Seriously bro, im not paying $75 to watch some guy run and roll his shoulder all night against a drained zombie. This thing needs a kick ass undercard and then some. The prices keep going up and they have us believing $5 extra isn't a big deal, but next year it'll be another 5....and another....and another.
The gremlins that run these networks need to chill.
Reading all this really makes me appreciate my $10 p/m subscription to Boxnation. Won't cost me anything extra. (I'm currently on holiday in the US and can't seem to find the f*ckin pound sign on this yank mac lol)
I realized last year when I ordered the pac bradley fight across here that your ppv is costly.
I know. Its great isn't it. For the price of the Mayweather Canelo, we get that fight plus the last 3/4 months of top fights. The only big fights we didn't get was Froch-Kessler 2 (which I watched in a pub cos it's on at a decent time) and Golovkin last weekend. I hope it sticks around for a while yet
This year, the average supportive fan(HBO, Showtime, PPV)is going to spend nearly $700 on boxing.
Those justifying the price keep this in mind. If you order one or two PPVs a year, you have no right to justify shit imhfo.
If you truly consider yourself a fan of the sport, you would pay whatever you could afford to support it. If you can afford it to be, money is no object when it comes to PPVs. I get most of them on a yearly basis and the ones I don't I watch at a bar or something.
