Floyd Mayweather Arguably GOAT

Hi skills is a GOAT caliber but he wasted it and continue to waste it by ducking and cherry picking his opponents.

That's life. Never? You kidding? Floyd has as many fights in his career as the true GOAT had in 3 years. The guy isn't half of what he could have been but that's water under the bridge now. Floyd thinks he is special with a few more than 40 wins under his belt, Calzaghe did more, fought over seas, and always had people saying he should fight this guy and that guy. Floyd ducks, jives and retires to get the odds in his favor......a true great wouldn't have to do that just to hold on to their "0". :fing02:

Mayweather is among the GOAT in my opinion. His skill sets are simply put,..Amazing. The reason he is not near the top is because he has no opponets outside of Ricky Hatton and Diego Corrales who were at their peak. I will give him credit for those 2 big wins. But he does not have a "dangerous" opponet who was at their peak. Corrales may have been dangerous,...I will give some credit their. Hatton was too limited, one dimensional to qualify. Leonard had "dangerous" threats in Hearns, Duran and Hagler. That is why he is at or near the top of my GOAT list. I can't say the same for Floyd. Diego Corrales had to cut 30lb in under 6 weeks for that fight, so no he was not in his peak. It's Just Hatton.

You could argue he's the GOAT ability wise but he just hasn't done enough or fought all comers to justify that. He's definitely an ATG doe.

Not even, If Mosley was his age he would of knocked mayweather out if not beat him on points. There is no doubt in my mind OK maybe a prime mosely beats him, but im not sure,,, Sugar always had trouble with pure boxers like forrest and winky... He's not the goat based on the simple fact that many other fighters from Robinson to Leonard would have murdered everyone Floyd fought, would have made easy work of Pacquiao, and would most likely have been ducked by guys like Alvarez, Martinez, and GGG It just is what it is

Here's my take on Floyd.. Skill-wise, he probably is the best to ever do it. The man has amazing boxing skills. However, I don't think his resume is good enough to deem him the GOAT. Top 5 maybe, top 10 for sure.

Floyd is the unbeatable best right now. The highest paid. And on a totally different level. No denying this but it doesn't make the greatest of all time
