Evander Holyfield takes Shot @ Canelo Alvarez "What's his name?!"

Evander is to gawd damn broke to be taking shots at ANYBODY.

He came at the presser, not knowing his name is just a sign of brain damage. Evander doesn't care either way but i'm sure the promoters who asked him to come cared.

Canelo is not yet an established name among mainstream sports fans. Not many people know him outside of mexicans/mexican americans and hardcore fans.

Some top fighters are fans and follow the sport and some don't. Holyfield clearly does not follow the sport very well aside maybe his division of course. He probably only knows mayweather and pacquiao outside of his division. I know pacquiao does not follow boxing that much. There's a a vid that showed pacquiao did not have a clue who brandon rios was when a reporter asked him what he thinks of him and this was a couple of years ago when rios was already making noise after wars with antillon, acosta, peterson.

I remember they showed Holyfield on the bigscreen at the Mayweather/Guerrero fight. I threw my undies at him. Should of thrown him a buck or two he would appreciated"peeleft:

Canelo is not well known on the east coast but holyfield has so much damage to his brain that he wouldn't know canelo if he lived next door to him. Holyfield probably doesn't remember all his kids names.

Since he's taken so many nuclear detonations off his chin we should give him a pass.

If we're honest, Canelo isn't exactly a significant name in boxing yet and unless you really followed the sport in the last two years, he's not going to be at the tip of your tongue. I don't think it's unusual at all for a guy like Holyfield to know who he is but not remember his name.

Canelo is going to make alot of money off the Mayweather fight...Evander should be a little nicer and maybe Canelo might loan him some child support money.

Nick Diaz! Pretty much that was his way of saying that Canelo is not the guy that will give Floyd his 1st loss. Just before that he was saying that you can't let Floyd fight his fight. It takes experience to do that and Canelo lacks it on that level with that level of fighter.

I thought the expression on his face after being told Canelo's name again was hilarious. But for real tho, Evander is such a badass. One of the most courageous fighters of all time.

He probably doesn't remember half his kids names so no biggie.
