is that Floyd went 12 solid rounds within a 4 month window of this upcoming bout. He will be sharper then his previous fight, with no ring rust. I think people overlook that critical advantage. That's all. BTW, I also don't see a guy who doesn't throw a lot of punches and gets tired mid fight troubling Floyd at all.
Canelo isn't Robert Guerrero, he'd stop Guerrero in 3-4 rounds maybe sooner.
A lot of people getting carried away with Floyd's performance against a limited cherry-pick. Canelo's win over Trout was actually legit.
Even Bush baby said that host is way better than Canelo. Sure Canelo is a very good boxer with allot of power AND speed. But I have never seen him use his size advantage to overpower an opponent. Fighters like Nonito and Canelo can only box. Nonito could have destroyed Rigo if he accepted that he was the slower man, and made it wreckless. But all he knows how to do is outspeed slower opponents. Ghost is a tactical boxer, but he can be wreckless too. You and me talked about this so much, and you seemed unsure that Ghost was a bum, before the fight. But after the fight, just like Bush baby you changed your mind. After the fight Bushbaby changed up and said that Canelo was better than Ghost. limited is the PERFECT word to use on Canelo who can only do one thing, and thats box. He cant make it a dog fight. He is a bum with power, and speed to me. And this is coming from a guy who hates Ghost.
This is just absurd, Canelo wouldn't stop Guerrero at all.
I think he would , especially the one that will confront Floyd , it will be the best Canelo to set foot in a ring , this fight is no walk in the park .
IMHO one of the biggest advantage Floyd has is his arm length. Canelo has very short arms.
We are talking intangibles, but I didn't know nelo had T-rex arms.
Actually you are wrong. His intangible advantages are ring IQ, experience, having the collective knowledge and wisdom of the Mayweather family in terms of boxing, and a severely underrated heart and will to win, to name a few.
Actually, I agree with you. I should say one of his most crucial intangible for this upcoming fight that he hasn't had in awhile, considering the long lay offs.

...except that was arguably Canelo's first notable win, and plenty thought the the decision could've gone to Trout. I think Canelo eeked it out - especially with the KD - and showed a lot of improvement, but I don't know if it's really enough.
Not saying Mayweather's win over Guerrero means much for the fight with Canelo (I'm not one to subscribe to idiotic triangle theories), but it was a completely dominating performance in my opinion, particularly in light of all the muppets on NSB getting - how did you put it? - carried away with Guerrero's performance against a limited cherry-pick in Andre ****in' Berto.

True. The most exciting part of this fight will be to watch the Canelo fans Die within a little over a half hour
