How about Broner vs Gamboa next?

Well Rees is even smaller and not half the fighter Gamboa is and he was giving Broner fits before he stood in front of him, something Boa wouldn't do. Gamboa would zip in and out all night, at will, peppering Broner to head and body with phenomenal speed and precision. It would be nothing more than a heavybag session. The guy is nothing but flat-footed, uncoordinated, top-heavy American hype. A feeble, smaller, poor mans Andre Berto.

there are weighr classes for a reason. gamboa should fight fighters his size. he doesnt even belong at lightweight imo. He has the height/reach of a 118-126lber, but we know he can't make that anymore. Gamboa is screwed. He could have a chance against Broner if he's drained @LW.

Broner destroys him. Don't understand why people think Gamboa has the size to deal with Broner, Broner will catch him lunging and probably takes him out.

gamboas speed, power and combos would be hell for broner. 50/50 fight IMO. if only gamboa had a better chin than he has now I would favor him mightily.

I'd prefer to see Gamboa fight at 130.

Gamboa is with Top Rank isn't he? He's with 50 Cent/SMS Promotions. I'd rather not see him fight Gamboa cuz I don't think it'd be that competitive. I'll watch it if they make it though. Also, Gamboa doesn't hold a LW belt, but he'll probably fight for a title next. I think he loses to Abril though. El Ciclon won't keep his undefeated record much longer imho.
