I think Broner would throw even less v Khan than he did v Malignaggi.
The guy shells up when getting hit and stops throwing, he did it against Rees and he did it against Paulie too. It was only when Paulie started to slow down that Broner came into the fight and started throwing punches.
You were spot on here Weebler,
Khan wud have beat the living **** outta Broner
What we learned yesterday is Broner cant cope with pressure
He has stiff legs, no defense and can be hurt and his power was highly overrated. especially at 147. Khan probably hits harder.
The Gavin Reese fight showed us this, all the signs were there. I said it before this guy is a very average limited boxer.
I admire Broners heart, he took some huge ****s last night, but he has way too many flaws
Khan can actually box and put together meangiful combos
Garcia is a monster puncher as demonstrated by his fight with Morales where he ended it with one punch. Khan was down against Diaz but those were only flash KD's. It's funny how people think Khan has no power. Before Broner lands his so called sharp counter, he would take a heavy amount of punishment from Khan for a few rounds and I doubt he could survive that.
Like Maidana did??? You have to hit pretty hard to put Khan away, he is resilient if anything. Broner throws one punch at a time mostly. He's not gonna hurt Khan badly with one shot like Garcia.
Khan's chin wasn't what got him through those last rounds against Maidana, it was his legs... when he was with Ariza, Ariza strengthened up his legs, evened him out a little bit, his legs kept him up in that fight... that's why since hes left Ariza he hasn't been the same, I think he needs Ariza back, he had a much bigger impact on Khan than he thinks he did.
I think skill wise Khan definitely has the tools to give Broner ****, and potentially even beat him, but Broner still has enough power to hurt Khan, don't base it off him not stopping Paulie, he hit Paulie with some heavy shots and snapped his head back, Paulie is just tough. I think at one point Broner will start hurting Khan and turn the fight around in his favor, whether by stoppage or decision.
Garcia is a massive puncher with the left hook. Broner has nothing in his arsenal as powerful as that punch. He can hurt Khan but finish him? Khan is a resillient fighter. That left hook by Garcia didn't even finish Khan. Amir was stopped on his feet
But he was a sitting duck for Garcia after the 1st KD. There were points in the Diaz fight where a sharper guy like Broner would have ended it. On second thought it seems pretty much inevitable, we've never seen him maintain the discipline he'd need. Plus he gets very predictable after a while.

Don't kid yourself, he can. Garcia is not a huge puncher, and it doesn't even take a Garcia to make his legs go. And Broner seems like a good finisher, if nothing else. He just never had Paulie anywhere close to that point.
A strong wind beats Khan (sorry Khan threads demand chin jokes is required look it up)...but honest opinion Broner may not hit that hard at 147 but he does hit you with surprising never see coming shots, dirty and clean ones and that is disaster for Khan who gets surprised by slow bus drivers.
People simply have this blind hate for Broner to the point that they only want to see him lose and put these unrealistic fights in their minds.
Fact is the chances that Broner fights Guerrero, Lucas etcetc. Is slim to none.
Broner-Khan could realistically happen and the main reason I would want to see it is for Khan's work rate and volume of punches.
He has a glass chin but whatever. He doesn't et tired and Broner doesn't throw counters between opponent's flurries like Floyd does. Which makes the fight intereting to see. Khan has the tools to beat Broner and vice verse.
Which is what boxing fans should want to see not this obsession with a boxer losing. You hate a guy so much that you only want to see them lose and won't be satisfied unless they lose.
Anyone who says Khan is just being stupid... and this is coming from someone who dislikes both Broner and Khan equally. Despite people constantly reiterating triangle theories are useless, they still seem to hold weight in peoples minds. They think "Khan looked great against Paulie and Broner didn't so Khan must be better" well that is total BS. Boxing is deeper and much more complex than that. Khan looked great against Paulie because fighting someone with no power takes away Khans biggest weakness, his poor chin and defense. He was able to be reckless without consequence therefore being able to show off his assets. Broner didn't do so well against Paulie because he fought with lots of movement of the feet and head. Khan against Broner is a different story. Khan literally jumps in to throw his shots.... literally jumps... he would get caught with a counter like in every fight he is in except this time the power will be enough to KO him like Danny did. People still can't see past Khans speed... Khan is only good against feather fisted opponents, anyone who has half decent power will usually beat him.
Broners 'power' is overrated. Fighting midgets and putting on 20 pounds overnight...
Khan is due a good performance... Think Alexander is going to be on the recieving end of it in december.
Khan can only beat powerful punchers when they're slow, like Maidana and Matthysse. Broner's too quick and accurate with that counter cross. People need to watch the paulie fight again in slow motion to see just how dominant Broner was.
i wouldnt say he was dominant because it is a legit criticism that he wasted a lot of time not throwing. with that said. when he did throw, his accuracy was off the charts. and he threw everything very well. straights, crosses, hooks, uppers. ppl really think broner is trash now, but that variety is not something thats common nowadays. no way does a guy like khan survive so easily from what we have seen in the past.

porter isnt a hard hitter tho, its not shocking. and i dunno why ppl are bringing porter up. theres a reason his career has been stalled for the last 2 years. everyone should just keep it real. khan doesnt have the chin to sustain 12 rounds of accurate shots from anyone with a good level of power. and broner not koing paulie does not mean he doesnt have power.
I don't disagree, though I'm not as sure as I was a day ago. Khan will be shutting him down for long stretches, and it's really in his hands. If he stays disciplined, he wins. Easier said than done.
But anyway, I was making a narrow point, about Diaz. If you saw the Porter fight you must have been surprised by both his durability and power. I'm far from a Khan fan, but I was saying the same thing in the buildup to Khan Diaz.
