NICOLA ADAMS has KO’d all thoughts of turning professional in order to go for more amateur gold.
Adams became the world’s first- ever women’s Olympic gold medallist in London last summer by lifting the flyweight title.
Since then she has been bombarded with requests to join the paid ranks but she said: “I don’t want to turn pro – I am staying amateur.”

Call me old fashioned, but women's boxing is a complete joke.
Yeah, I used to have the same opinion but I changed my mind last year. Nicola was one of the biggest stars of London 2012 for me. I think she single handedly changed a lot of people's perceptions of women's boxing. Got to give her credit for that.
