Could he still throw a punch?
It seems as if he can't punch without opening his mouth ALL the way & yelling. Several other boxers can't punch without making a loud sound (Alexander) but Broner takes it to another level with his wide open mouth for every punch. Eventually someone with speed & pop is going to break his jaw.
I think these guys like Broner and Alexander are able to throw punches without making a noise but they like making the noise. It's like they are making the sound of their punches landing even if they are not landing.
It's not the 'yelling' that's a problem, the problem is he hangs his mouth open leaving his jaw vulnerable and inhaling through his mouth will tire him over the course of the fight.
He'll get away with it against the pauli mallignagi's and gavin reese's of the world but against top class operaters who can punch he's gonna have problems.
A good counter puncher with some power can shatter that jaw! I can see that happening as soon as he fights anybody worth a damn!
why don't people understand that all fighters do this?? fighters yell to get maximum intensity out of their punches. Yelling is the best way to get co2 out of ur lungs.. which results in the highest intensity possible for that punch. Mayweather, pacquiao, and just about everybody else does it. Please shut up about it
