I thought the Rogert Mgtagawa fight was Gamboa at his absolute best...
Mgtagawa is a tough guy but Gamboa just went thru him like a hot knife thru butter
Not a lot of people know this, but Al Seeger killed his next opponent after losing to Gamboa. Benjamin Flores. Seeger stopped him in 8. Flores collapsed, and died a few days later.
Wow. You just jarred my memory. I vaguely recalled that terrible fact. Al fought just one more time after the Flores fight, losing by 9th round TKO. It appears he couldn't get over killing a man in the ring. It's a tough cross to bear.

The Seeger KO was devastating, but the left hand that levelled Solis was set up beautifully and thrown to perfection.
The Al Seeger KO was great. Maybe not his best performance but what a shot. Casamayor is seen ringside going nuts lol. He might of ticked off one of the judges.
That Seeger KO was just nasty. Poor Al literally folded up.

Solis was a demolition job, was unreal. Offense, defence, speed, power, skill...just awesome.
He was sensational in quickly destroying M'tagwa who had just given Juanma an absolute war. He won every round against Ponce. His KO of Seeger is also a thing of beauty.
Jorge Solis that was demolition i really didnt expect him to get blown away in 4 rounds and hit the canvas 55 times. You can actually see Solis by KD number 3 on his back saying "oh my dios" oh my god lol
Top 3
1. Jorge Solis - Good fighter that he completely blew through. Also produced several incredible KDs. This was the best Gamboa in all aspects defensive and offensive.
2. Rogers Mtagwa - Decent fighter. Gamboa gave him a frightful beatdown.
3. Samuel Kebede - Early fight, but the best of Gamboa's old careless style. didn't get touched once and virtuoso KO.
