two quitters? let see who quit first! lol! just kidding, this is I think a good fight and worth watching. I will go for Cotto coz of his skills and experience..
It would be a pretty good scrap, skill wise I think it is actually pretty close but I think Cotto's real advantage is on the mental side even though both have had their shaky moments on that side of the game but Cotto is much more consistent.
Dude Cotto won't be able to handle Ortiz speed as power. It will be like the PAC fight all over again but Ortiz is bigger and he stops this past prime Cotto. Had it been a younger Cotto then u sir would be correct.
Ortiz is my second favorite active fighter, if I could pick, I really don't want this fight to happen. But Ortiz does not have near the volume punching Pacquiao did, Cotto should be more than able to outbox him.
Cotto beats his ass so bad that Ortiz retires, saying "I don't deserve to be getting beat up like this. Even trees feel."

Dude Ortiz Merks Cotto. Cotto is really chiny and Ortiz has pop! Ortiz makes Kneeguel quit in 6. A younger Cotto would meek Ortiz but Cotto has been in too many wars. Great fight!
Cotto has seen better days but I think he is still to good for Ortiz and would win by KO. Ortiz can't take Cotto's hand speed and power in my opinion. I would rather see Ortiz vs. Guerrero. Comparing how they did against Mayweather I think Cotto gave Mayweather the best fight. Ortiz gets hurt and knocked down alot. His chin and will to win are not so good.
The dude in your sig. Bet he still has nightmares of Mosley battering his skull.

AND....Cotto avenging his loss....wonder which is worst :nutkick:
Ortiz is a strange dude, I think Cotto, even after prime, beats him a in a pretty good fight.
Even at this stage Cotto has too much skill for Ortiz. He will stop him late, Ortiz may have some moments but Cotto can dish it out as well as take it, Ortiz has proved on a few occasions he can't do the latter. He can get back up when hurt, but can't take a sustained physical beating, which is exactly what he'd get from Cotto.
I've been hoping for this fight but I just remembered, isn't both of them rumored to be working with Freddie Roach?
has there been any photos/footage of either guy training or meeting with him recently? i know i've heard rumors as well, but i have yet to see either guy verify it or have it officially announced by their managers/advisers, or roach himself.
as for the fight, i'm not sure. i think ortiz, if he is determined, could beat this older cotto. then again, i can see cotto's experience overwhelm ortiz to the point where he becomes a little gunshy like he did in the peterson fight. it's a great fight to have, let's see if gbp can make it happen. i was actually thinking gbp would make ortiz/mosley at 147 though.
